I am forever amazed by how many kinds of pink and yellow moths there are.

I actually used to be afraid of moths. Then I learned about the Rosy Maple Moth. Just seeing that adorable little fluffy moth pretty much completely got rid of that fear. How could i be afraid of anything related to THAT? Now I actually have a soft spot for moths.

Thats one of my favorites!

First rosy maple moth (Dryocampa rubicunda) of the season! I am always suprised by the Dunkin Donuts-like coloration on these beauties.
