Here's a flip through my Mothvember art prompt on one of my notebooks! I actually wanted to upload this before my Benthiary prompt but I lost track lol 💤 I'm genuinely very proud of myself for going through with it even when I was busy trying to navigate through some life stuff these last few months. I hope I keep going and stay productive in the next year too.

🦋🍂 MOTHVEMBER day 25-26🍂🦋 Arctornis ecnomoda are Southeast Asian moths, and of course... they just HAD to lay their eggs on durians, don't they? Could not have been me. Look at their cool see-through wings though! Looks like they'll fit right in with the leaves 🍃 At first I was going to colour the crystal white, but I ended up thinking it'll look better as an amber fossil (but also a crystal?). I'm making my white ink pen work for it in this one. Also, now that I think about it, doesn't the Arctornis Ecnomoda look like a fossil too? 🔶
🦋🍂 MOTHVEMBER day 15-16 🍂🦋 Spotted apatelodes is the most intimidating moth in my mothvember list, but that's just their look. They just want to eat some leaves! I like that they have this almost scorpion-like tail, it makes them look like some kind of chimera dragon. I tried to make it look like it belongs to a medieval manuscript art of a new dangerous creature
🦋🍂 MOTHVEMBER day 23-24🍂🦋 Automeris io, or simply Io moth, are one of the proud moths featuring cool eyespots on their wings to confuse and deceive their enemies! The males have yellow colouration whereas the females are brown, as usual. This is a young Io moth wealthy kid trying to woo an older Io with a bouquet they made themselves! Do you think they have a chance? I may have accidentally made them look like batfolks but I tried. Loved drawing their designs though ❤️
🦋🍂 MOTHVEMBER day 27-28 🍂🦋 Pseudothymara staudingeri is a rather obscure moth! All I know is that it's only found in Sierra Leone of West Africa, and it was discovered in late 19th century. Has anyone even seen it recently? Is it still around? I need to know! ☀️💗 I think I had the hardest time figuring out what to do for this moth. I was partly inspired by Mary Blair's illustrations and heraldry designs, but I spent quite awhile trying to get it together. I really wanted the moth to pop out though. Also, this is the second to last in the Mothvember series!
Gotta stop myself from creative droughts so I made my own drawing prompt for November ✨✨✨ I chose some moths that are cool and I've never heard of them before, so it's a learning experience too. I've already started on a few of them so I'll be uploading them soon
🦋🍂 MOTHVEMBER day 11-12 🍂🦋 Would you eat this parfait? It features the very pink Deilephila Porcellus aka the small elephant hawk-moth! They look right in place amongst the strawberries and cherries! Also, it's my birthday today! 🍓🍒 I'm having alot of mileage with this white pen as you can see lol. I kind of really like drawing food/drinks; I actually have a few martinis I've inked 2 years ago but never uploaded them. What is it about me liking to illustrate food I don't even like to eat in real life?
