Is it just me or did anyone else get a diagnosis of pdd-nos as a kid because you had atypical autism and then get it hidden from you only for you having to find out as an adult and then having to get re evaluated again because its no longer a valid dx from the dsm4?

Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale. I’d like to add that my therapist told me specifically that people should never ever tell their doctor/psychiatrist “I think I might have [blank]” but especially ADHD because they’ll think you just want medication to abuse or sell. Better to just list your symptoms and describe how they affect your life. So please, do not print this out and hand it to your doctor. Instead, look at it as a guide for how to describe your symptoms.
