There, on his throne, he looked down upon you. Once, you two had been allies in the attempts to free L’manberg from the grasps of Dream. Now, here you were, long after her betrayal, staring at the empty shell of who you knew. They wore the same skin as her, yet this wasn’t the Eret you came to know and love. This was a monster.

“Why do you stay with them?” were not the first words you expected to hear, and yet they were. Shocked, you blink a few times, trying to figure out if you heard her right. You did, though, and you hated that.

“Why wouldn’t I,” you reply, a smile appearing on your face. “They’re my friends, my family. I don’t see why I wouldn’t.”

“If they are your family, then why did they leave you? They abandoned you, traded you to me. And for what?” Eret knew what they were doing and you didn’t like the direction they were taking this.

“Your majesty, I have no idea as to why they would do that.” You were more than aware of the reasoning, but you didn’t want to think about it. The thought of it hurt you tremendously.

“We both know why they did it,” He just wanted to dig the wound deeper and pour as much salt as he could into it. “You were disposable to them. Another tool they could use and abuse, only to throw away when you lost your use. Just like The Blade, but worse. To them, you were just dead weight. Didn’t you see how happy they were to rid themselves of you? How easily they gave you away?”

Tears started to form in your eyes, and you lowered your head to the ground in a pitiful attempt to hide them. Stains on the carpet beneath you made the crying so obviously clear.

“But they told me they loved me.” Your voice was so faint and shaky, a thing you tried so hard to hide. It was in vain though, as the sobs you held back still shook your body.

She chuckled. “Did they really? Wow, how mean of them.” With that, she got up from her throne and slowly walked towards you. “How sweetly did they say it to you? What else did they tell you? Come on, you can tell me.”

Sniffles were the only reply you gave them. Gripping your chin, they lift your head so they can make eye contact with you. Their proud expression soon becomes somber. They wipe your tears and make soft “shh”ing noises, doing their best to comfort you.

“Aw, sweetheart,” He gently cradled your face in her hands. “They were lying, I’m the only one who could ever love you. I know this, you know this, everyone knows this. You’re so unlovable to everyone else, but that’s what I love about you. You’re all mine. Mine and no one else’s, okay?”

You nod your head without a second thought and Eret pulls you further into his embrace.

My take on the Red Banquet:

[/rp] Oh man.

The scenery and build? Amazing. The entire area was so pretty and really set the mood well. The planned mechanisms for the lava and the TNT? Genius. It was so satisfying to see the lava just fall down the walls... man. I wonder if Ranboo (if it was him? I believe it was him) was there not only for lore purposes, but to activate the TNT/lava mechanisms?

Before the actual banquet, with the cast gathering outside and looking at each other's outfits-- aah serotonin!!! It gives me "waiting for prom to start" vibes :]

After everyone gave their speeches (Ponk's had me laughing, I love that he's still salty) and Bad finished his speech with a "haha bestie get ready to die!! owo", man that was satisfying as the lava rolled down and everyone realized what he had just said. His acting- heck, everyone's acting was just awesome, they've all grown so much. Fundy's terror was infectious and very realistic for his character, someone who isn't too involved with the Egg and served more as a bystander.

Foolish giving himself up for Eret... that scene hit. I sense a lot of angst coming from them. I love them both, I hope we see more from the immortal duo.

Hannah's betrayal was badass. I honestly didn't see it coming, and dang I love how she did it.

Technoblade coming in with the Hound Army is controversial, but I personally loved it. It was so cool to see him team up with Quackity-- and it shows how desperate Quackity was, that he teamed up with his (former?) enemy to stop the Eggpire temporarily.

And Purpled? Damn we all are loving those 5 lines of dialogue. He really came in with a purple suit and slayed. I hope that we get Purpled and Hannah PVP, whether it's against each other or someone else.

Bad questioning if he was doing the right thing with that monologue at the end of his stream was wonderful. He's such a sympathetic "villain", his lore is only going to get better.

Puffy's guilt from failing to protect Foolish and killing Antfrost was cool too. Not as cool as Bad's, but I do like seeing her hero complex getting tested.

I feel like the ending was a little anticlimactic, though. Quackity coming in with Techno and Purpled? I love it. I do wish it went out with a bang (literally or figuratively) but I see how the result works with lore!

I am glad though that not all storylines have overlapped yet (for example: Kinoko Kingdom, Ranboo, Tommy's deal with Dream and the prison, etc) with Eggpire lore. I find it interesting that George was present; he was invited last minute, apparently, and is very clearly out of the loop as he hadn't dressed up in the slightest and has no ties with the Eggpire. I'm sure there's a lore reason for it, and I'm curious as to what it may be.

In all, I personally loved how the Red Banquet went. Can't wait for more Eggpire lore :]

Phil goes to the Museum (sounds like a kids movie title, lol)

Okay but. Idea. What if Phil does his research before seeing Wilbur again.

In Phil’s lore stream, he found out Wilbur had been lying to him in his letters. He doesn’t even know who Schlatt was. He didn’t know Wil lost the election and was cast out of his own country. He kept saying he had so many questions, that he had questions before, where it all went wrong, but now he has even more questions. What if, while he waits to be able to speak to Wilbur, who’s lied to him before, he tries to find out the real story he thought he knew. I think Phil should try and find out the history of this place. He should talk to Eret. Eret has been there since the beginning. They were the traitor the first time around, and they’re now ruler of the Greater SMP. Not only that, but Eret has been keeping the history of this place. Eret is building and curating the museum. Phil should request an audience with the king. It would be tense. An awkward meeting no doubt. But after Phil found out about the museum, and that his son had lied to him about the goings-on of the server, Phil needs to know the truth. And if Wilbur’s lied to him before, he might try to twist the truth again if Phil just asks him about it. But could you imagine, just, a tense meeting at the castle. And a quiet walk to the museum. With just, Phil explaining that he needs to know what really happened. From the beginning. And Eret has wanted to make amends for so long, they want to do good, and help, it’s all they want (that and power, power is pretty cool too). So the two walk around the museum. Starting at the beginning. And slowly, the intensity and awkwardness melts away because Phil is just listening to Eret as they go along. I don’t even think Phil would ask many questions, if any. Probably getting more and more quiet. At a loss of words once they get to the parts that Wil lied about. Finding out what happened at the Election/Inauguration. What Pogtopia really was. What really happened at the Festival. Who executed Tubbo. When they’re done, somehow Phil is even more quiet than when they started. Just, thinking. In his own head. Digesting the new information. When they started, it may have been tense and awkward but not completely silent. This would allow him to properly question Wil when he sees him again. Rather than just asking him what really happened, asking him why he lied. Asking him about events he lied about or just left out completely. Give us that angry confused angst Philza. Give us scrambling Wilbur trying to explain why he lied. Not only would this give us extra lore before he meets Wilbur again, gives us Eret in the lore, it also gives an in-story recap of events that have happened since the beginning for newer fans. It would be a cool way to go over past events for new fans as well as older ones, since sometimes it’s important to revisit because it’s easy to forget the significance of certain events.

Completely random thought but I'd be really interested in,, Eret lore,,, specifically about their eyes. The fact that he didn't want to take off his crown when he was dethroned because it would also take away his sunglasses and show off his eyes made it seem like it was an important thing for him? I just think it'd be cool to have lore based on that,, is Eret some sort of supernatural creature? Did her eyes get messed up in some sort of accident? Is there magic involved? Why are Eret's eyes like that and why is she insecure about them? I wanna know! I think they could make an interesting plotpoint out of that. Bad has similar blank eyes, could Eret maybe be some kind of netherfolk? Just plz... Eret lore.........
