What cha know about New Looney Tunes?
Weeeell, I know the series was directed by Erik Kuska and that it was the production that followed The Looney Tunes Show TT , It's pretty clear that The New Looney Tunes was intended to bring the characters back to the spirit of their classic theatrical shorts, moving away from the sitcom format that defined TLTS and returning to a more slapstick-driven style of comedy.
My biggest issue with the series isn't the comedy or the characters' personalities. My main problem is with the designs. I have a hard time getting used to some of the changes in their proportions and overall appearance, especially Porky and Sam.I understand that they were trying to bring back Porky's 1930s design, but, at least for me, it's difficult to get used to seeing him with a larger build ;-; Personally, I prefer his classic design. That said, it doesn't stop me from enjoying the humor and the stories in each episode. Honestly, I think the series is fun and entertaining ^^
As for the designs, which were originally created for Wabbit (the series' original title before it became The New Looney Tunes ) I understand they were designed by Jessica Borutski, who also worked on the character designs for The Looney Tunes Show, alongside Jennifer Hoffer.I think Jessica's work is amazing. I've always found her designs for The Looney Tunes Show to be charming, expressive, and full of personality. I think her art style is incredibly distinctive. However, I don't quite feel the same way about her designs for The New Looney Tunes TT
As for the new characters, I don't have much to say. I really like Squeaks, and I think his dynamic with Bugs is adorable. He's not Bugs' enemy, nor is he trying to compete with , they simply get along really well, and I think he's an excellent companion for Bugs. The same goes for Claudette Dupri. I really enjoy the contrast she creates with Pepe. At least to me, they're the most memorable original characters introduced in the series.
I also like the spotlight Wile E. Coyote gets, since it brings back some of the refined, talkative personality he had in a few of the classic shorts. I also really enjoyed Taz's role throughout the series.
One thing I really wish we'd gotten was more screen time for characters like Lola and Speedy.
Another detail I'd like to mention is that I feel the series moved away from the orchestral scores that had always been such a defining part of Looney Tunes. I find that especially interesting considering the show's goal was to return to the spirit of the original shorts.
Aaaahsjdhks, I also wanted to mention that there's a short where Bugs goes up against the animator: Rabbit Amuck. Yep, it's an obvious reference to Duck Amuck. JSJSJSK. I can't help but imagine that Daffy finally got the chance to get his revenge. AHDKSNDJSK

This short also includes a few references to Bugs' history as a character, which I thought was a really nice touch. :]
Lastly, there's a fan headcanon I read quite a while ago that tries to connect the continuity with Tinytoons. According to this idea, all of the characters graduated from Looneyversity, and The New Looney Tunes was their first big project , or basically their "thesis." That would explain why the characters still feel a little different from their classic versions.
I'm honestly not the biggest fan of this headcanon because it feels a little odd to me, but I can't deny it's a pretty fun idea. Sooo... I made this little drawing as a reference. (?)

Drawing model of Scrooge and troubles in Duck family - Daffy Duck in Duck Amuck - Duck comics and Looney Tunes - Impish, Animated and Cultured Ducks - Duckvember - My style - Duckverse and Looney Tunes
Although I'm late, I've drawn two drawings related to the Animatic, Impish and Cultured Ducks themes for the next Duckvember drawings. The first drawing shows my redraw from a scene from the classic short "Duck Amuck" by the brilliant Chuck Jones from 1953 and this is in my opinion one of the best classic shorts related to Daffy Duck and Looney Tunes. Yes, Daffy as a flower, drawn by the animator (spoiler: Bugs Bunny) as the biggest trick in that cartoon. Poor Daffy. I didn't color the background because there was no need because in that classic short with that scene there is no background color.

Yes, for Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck they need a drawing of Scrooge for art class at school so they draw him as David, but since they were naughty they drew him in a way that Scrooge McDuck wouldn't like. Donald Duck as an extraordinary painter, unfortunately not appreciated by many, drew himself as David, not his uncle. Yes, there are some famous references here. Otherwise this is just a joke. ;)
