Preparations for this war lasted for so long... With training, finding the Champions, combating against the monsters and the Yiga Clan... And then, when everything went wrong. Mipha could scarcely remember a time before the Calamity, even with her long lifespan. Or... Maybe she just didn’t remember what do without a war to fight. She put every ounce of herself into this war against the Calamity, but now that it was over… What is she to do?
And then, there was Link. Mipha knew him when he was just a boy, but the only reason she had gotten to know him now was because of this horrible war. Her feelings for him grew beneath the haze of the Calamity. How is that right..?? And what would she do now that it was over? Mipha was glad the war had ended, but now… They had no reason to see each other. She felt guilty that this hurt her so.
" With the war finally over, what will you do? " Mipha asked the Hylian knight, though she couldn't bring herself to look at him. With the war going on all around them, Mipha never could find the right time to tell him how she felt... And now that it was over, it felt wrong to do so. It was time for them to go their separate ways, not for a confession of love. Even so, Mipha wanted to hold onto this moment for as long as she could. A final walk together before they went on with their lives.
Link, if no one else, was a slave to this war... He deserved his freedom more than anything else. And a confession of love may only confuse him, make him feel like he has to tie himself to her. Mipha didn't want that.
Crack post for @dutyforged because I yeet a usually peaceful cookie being infused by the BLOOD MOON!
Pure Vanilla Cookie felt strange as something came over him, a sheen of red in the sky and his whole look suddenly changed!
EVIL EDIBLE PHASE ACTIVATED!
"You need to take a deep breath and tell yourself you're a pretty princess."
Jiraiya raised a brow. His gaze fixed on the small blond in front of him with some mild confusion. Why was this child goading him into a somewhat… well… both flattering yet embarrassing self compliment? Was he being mocked? Or was this a poor attempt at as the youth say “hyping him up?”
“You first. With your full chest.” He insists with a gentle poke to the other’s chest.
She actually hates fighting with Link, but sometimes she gets so frustrated.
"WHHHELLLL, lookie look at that, seems like that Zora gal is little JEEEEALLLLOUS."
Once again, Master Kohga's mysterious, undeniable charm seizes the day!
Sweet Calamity is it HARD being him.
.......not that he wants that Link's attention in that regard at all. Ick. Ew.
💭 + “Does living forever make things matter more… or less?”
"I would say..both. There are two layers to an eternal life. Time that never runs out and history that repeats itself. The endless time makes apparent that unimportant things that should be forgotten truly matter not. Things like childish slights, caused by bouts of ego. Forgiveness is the only thing that will carry ones soul through eternity without misery and bitterness. Or imagined grievances. Talk them out. Make peace. And if there can be no closure, at least let it go.
Similarly, the things that truly matter will matter more the older you get. Even if there is no end in sight to love, friendship, family, food, music and everything else good and wonderful, it will never count for anything less. Eternity shouldn't spoil what is good, only brush away what is truly insignificant.
As for the ever repeating events, they show that things matter more than one might believe. Don't become cold and callous to signs only because you've seen them before. Each new summer is a blessing, as is every rainfall and every sunrise. They happen, again and again, but they matter. Threats often return, even if sometimes in a different way, but so do alliances. Everything that happens matters more than one might believe.
It's the same for pain, betrayal and loss. It will repeat as well, and it will always be difficult to endure. It will always matter. To me at least. I found the pain never lessens, even if this happened to me many times before. But the happiness about things I love will also not lessen when they happen. They will always matter, often even more if they come to me after a time of grief or sorrow."

"Oh...." Greenbell Cookie spoke, shuffling on the spot, and looking at the ground. She fiddled with her hands as her wings lowered down. Despite being a fairy cookie; she couldn't see herself being a guardian of the land or even a whisperer of magic…
At most she could sing and manipulate the wind to craft songs with it especially if she had her Bud Bell with her but those weren’t impressive feats compared to what she was told by the hero.
“That honestly sounds impressive… Being able to do so much and provide so much help.”
