project end poem was gorgeous thank you so much for helping putting it together! despite the thousands of apocalypses we’ve been hit with it seems we’re still definitely there and we still have so many artists among us, thanks for reminding us of that

It was so much fun and I was so excited when theftshrubbery reached out to me saying "theres no Dream bday collab lets host one"! I was worried since it was such short notice but everyone was able to get them done in time and I'm so proud of everyone and their artwork!

I know exoduses are common with YTers, not just MCYT but as a whole, but it really feels like we get hit with so many and collabs, zines, artweek events are what keep fandoms alive! What I really wished this collab would do actually happened: it exploded in places we "didnt expect it to explode". There's a lot of artist support on tumblr but I was so so so happy seeing the people who uploaded on twitter too be seen for their art and get support too- and holy SHIT NUMBER 5 TRENDING! And the twitter summary for Happy Birthday Dream mentioned the project too!

I'm just so happy with how well it turned out, especially as this was my first time ever helping host an event/collab. I'm so glad this has helped remind people too that we will always make it through things and its # Dream Team Forever and Ever. It wouldn't have been possible without any of the artists that did sign up despite such a tight deadline and I'm so so happy and thankful for everyone that did. 💚💚💚💚💚

I have quite a few actually haha! I'll give you just a couple of 'em tho <3

(Disclaimer: most of these are in regards to High Humanity P unless stated otherwise)

He could always feel pain since he woke up. Pain is a sensation after all, not an emotion, and it's important for him to know what might be internally broken while fighting (even if it's...unpleasant)

Becoming FRUSTRATED by that pain, however, came later after he gained some more humanity:

Just because he's quiet and stoic doesn't mean he isn't mischievous in his own way ("Looks like you inherited Carlo's mischievous personality instead of his memories"). This is the character of PINOCCHIO we're talking about after all, a puppet who's infamous for being tricksy. He's just...less boisterous and loud about it like Carlo probably was

On occasion, P enjoys using the perceptions people have of him to his advantage, sometimes pretending he's still that wide eyed, aloof puppet who walked into the Hotel for the first time just to mess with people/pull one over on them (or maybe to get away with flustering them because oops it looks like he "forgot" he needs to wear a shirt around the hotel again!)

Following that train of thought, he likes to flex his ability to lie at times with his friends, it helps him feel a little more human sometimes. Usually his fibs are about harmless things to pull little pranks on them, not usually about anything important (unless he feels it's necessary):

He doesn't normally talk unless he has to, preferring to converse with body language/signals if he can get away with it. He may indulge in the occasional ramble though if you're someone he really trusts/knows, i.e. Gemini

He may have just been "born" very recently, but he's always had the mental capacity of a fully grown adult, even as he stumbled his way through discovering his newfound humanity (i.e. he's more-so inexperienced, rather than innocent). The concept of a "childhood" fascinates him, having never really experienced one himself

I have some more headcanons I def plan to make into comics at some point haha, but if y'all want more lil posts like this, lemmie know! ^v^

im going to be nitpicky and ask how Nightstar had both Larchkit and Obsidiankit if they are a moon apart? even in clangen there is a gap between giving birth and having kits again (not to mention 2 moons long pregnancy). unless that's a typo or one is adopted idk

I actually brainstormed with someone in the CCC Discord about this! So the idea is that Nightstar’s labor lasted about an almost two nights and one day at the very end of one moon. She birthed Obsidian first (at the very end of one moon), but Larch was giving her trouble for one reason or another and he was birthed the next moon (at the very very beginning of it). Let me know if that makes sense 😭 But they are considered a moon apart because of Nightstar’s long labor!
