Well this was an exceptionally boring day for Hydro. Beetle and Scimitar were taking the kids shopping, Tundra was at the North pole with a bunch of DVDs for some reason, Prescott had the three new DPNs hooked up to bug-check their coding, and Candy was resting up for a gig that night. All of them being busy coupled with no jobs scheduled for the day essentially meant Hydro was out of luck for something to do. What’s worse, it wasn’t nearly late enough to go bar-hopping for girls.

With no better alternative, Hydro decided that his best option was to just sit on the couch and channel surf. Not a particularly exciting way to spend the day, he knew...

“So that’s why I can’t go back to Argentina.” Skull explained to Knight as they walked down the hall. “I don’t think the Prime Minister saw my face, but I’m not taking the risk.”

Knight nodded as Skull conluded his story. “Well, that would certainly explain things. I never imagined you were capable of such-wait.” Knight raised his arm to stop Skull. “Do you hear that?”

Skull listened out for whatever Knight was calling attention to. “...is it me or does it sound like a badly autotuned whale’s in the fortress?”

War Cry

Bass couldn’t shake the feeling of something being wrong.  So he stormed into the fortress.  A pit forming when he came in passed the wreckage.  Oil on the ground.  Pieces of armor from his Wily brothers, an elder brother and a younger brother.

I should’ve been here.  Dammit.  He thought, fists clenching.  Rage boiling.  The roar of his core seeming to echo in a song of war.  The roar would be accompanied by a battle cry that would echo throughout the fortress and beyond.  

The SWN’s optics turned blood red.  Glowing with hatred.  Hatred for one who he believed to be the culprit.  Ra Moon.

He turned towards the hole in the wall, the one still there since nobody really gets to fixing shit around the fortress until ordered to.  

Fists clenched.  

His battle cry dying down.  By now, all knew war had been declared.  Nothing could stop him.  Not even Wily.  For the fury of the SWN was an inferno not even the the coldest of waters could hope to douse.

And thus he charged off.  Charged off to find Ra Moon.  To destroy the dreaded alien bot or die trying.

“Ah, the city nightlife... such a vibrant display of lights.... it’s almost as if it is trying to mimic the grand night sky~” Star Man muses for himself with a bit of a dreamy sigh as he gazes out into the vastness of Megalopolis, the rogue DWN just trying to stay out of sight for now as to not have his admiration of the lights disrupted. However, there was something that’d catch his attention otherwise; a large greenhouse that stood out among the other buildings. Deciding to sate his curiosity, Star would leap off the building, his anti-gravity hovering devices within his star-shaped body turning on as he’d start hovering towards it.

Landing down at its entrance, Star peeked inside the glass building, immediately spotting some very exotic flowers. He could score something here, maybe! That is, if it was-- touching the door made it slowly swing open. Yep, sure was open. So he’d decide to walk inside the literal indoor jungle. “Hello? Anyone here?”
