Strong dude who looks edgy, but is just tired

A man who seems to be the "anti-hero"-type, who looks scary and pretty angry. Most people think he would beat anyone up. Though he's actually just tired, paranoid, and needs jobs to keep himself afloat.

Yeah, he looms over everyone because he got implants to help him fight quests easier. Because they suck without them. He already has to deal with pain in his torso. He going to be running around all day, might as well get those cybernetic implants... and some more.

He looks angry all the time because his boss treats him like shit. It doesn't matter if he got a normal office job or is doing illegal stuff. They always suck! He just wants to go home.

The 'anti hero' loves to go home to his cat. The one good thing in his life.

He's actually pretty protective of the people he's close to. He's afraiding of hurting people like he was hurt, over and over again. There's a reason he has those scars.

Never starts fights for no reason. Especially when it's civilians. Why would he do his job for no reason or payment? Plus it's just a dick move.

Really into a hobby. Maybe drawing calms his nerves or baking gives him something to look forward to. Reads for escapism.

Chronic pain because he was an experiment and has a hard job.

Hates missions involving labs because they bring back bad memories.

Has nightmares pretty often which causes difficulty sleeping.

Idk what to name him. Samuel? I'd have to make a drawing of him.

His yandere level could range from medium to intense depending on context.

Like, " I don't want to be alone again. Please just stay by my side." Inside his head Manipulation, worrying about other people, etc. Still keeps his act up of being calm. When he's worried the persob will get hurt, dude does not care about pretending. Like he doesn't care what he has to do to keep them safe. His personality does a 180.

Not canon but it'd also be interesting if he was aroace. Like he just doesn't have any interest, despite people flirting with him. You can do whatever you want with this mf. If he does have interest in sex, definitely a sub.

Rolling up a test character for FIST and managed to roll the edgiest little fuckhead ever:

Role: ABANDONED (Describe the war-torn country where you learned to live on nothing and fight to survive as a child. You advanced if you adequately contributed your part to the mission without anybody else's help.)

Traits: Murder and Vampire (I have a murder of crows that follow me around and sqwauk omens at me/hurt my enemies, and I get bonuses after drinking blood and have an amulet that allows me to turn into a bat)

Prompt: The potion works, but nothing changed

Listen, I'm not talking about love potions, I am talking about a brain-washing potion.

There is this kind of edgy character that is convinced by another character to drink a potion for testing purpose. This potion lasts around 24 hours and makes the one who drank it obey the orders of the first person they see.

Now, the edgy character close his eyes to be able to drink the potion quickly, and when he was going to open his eyes... The cute character appears, she is always following the other around (it's actually the contrary) and was searching for him.

Cut to the poison maker thinking the poison failed, because she followed them and there was no change.

Fortunately, our poison maker told about it to another character who knows our duo better. Then it is explained that nothing changed because the edgy character always obeys what the cute character says.

System A has a headmate that's painfully edgy. Like "Would be put on socmed as an example of 'fakers stigmatizing DID'" edgy. Of course, Headmate B is real, and also harmless, but just... very chuunibyo.

Edgy over-the-top character concept for pathfinder 2e #1: Female Hobgoblin fighter with the witch archetype, who is also a changeling, learns over the course of her adventure about her heritage and her patron. (The patron granting her power in order to defeat her mother’s coven for... whatever reason, it’s up to you / your dm to decide) Has only one eye left. The hag-eye was removed by other hobgoblins thinking it was infected OR believing that by removing the eye the child won’t become a hag. Overall all the symptoms of a changeling are ignored / misinterpreted / down played by the character and her family: Long, sharp, strong nails? Yeah, she worked hard (e.g. miner background) in her childhood, that’s why her nails are so tough. It’s not that uncommon! The calling? Just weird dreams from reading or listening to too many stories about otherworldy creatures.  (for the witch archetype) That small, normal looking animal being around her all the time? Yeah, it just imprinted itself on her for some reason / she found it next to its dead siblings and took care of it / it’s her favourite animal and she “tamed” one to become her new pet, because she is soooo smart. Trained in occultism and arcana? You need to know more about elf-magic in order to defeat it. She’s just studying the enemy. Trained in crafting? Potions / elixiers are overall very useful and the local alchemist (maybe her father?) taught her some common formulars while she helped around in his shop. Can speak Aklo / sylvan? Well, fey are unpredictable, learning their language makes communication easier and they can’t insult you without you noticing. --- Feel free to add more or ask questions. Maybe I can upload a full level 1 character sheet one day. Or maybe not.
