Tobias' speaker necklace: IDENTIFIED!
So if you, like me, have been vexed by trying to identify this necklace time and time again, I have good news and I have bad news.
The good news: I've finally found it!
The bad news: The only way to get one is to have a #1 song or album on the Swedish music charts.
Yesterday I went down the rabbit hole for the third or fourth time trying to track this thing down. I'm usually a pretty good internet detective but this one was one of the more difficult things I've had to work through!
Thanks to this reddit post I got the pic on the right which let me do a better reverse image search. It wasn't turning up much but then I saw a result that was in Swedish!
I won't recount the entire process from there but it was enough to crack the case even though I did find something else you might want to know about along the way. So here's what I've got.
The pendant is the creation of a Swedish jeweler and metalsmith, Maria Nilsdotter. Starting in 2022, it, along with the larger version that you can see in the press photos, is awarded to artists who top the Swedish charts.
Impera charted #1 on its release in March 2022 and while I haven't done an excessive amount of digging on this particular detail, that does seem to line up with when he started wearing it.
RHRN and Skeletá both also charted #1 so now I'm wondering if he's just got a few of these laying around just in case!
ALSO, if you were looking at those photos and found yourself going, that's great Jay but what about the other necklace?!
On that front I have fantastic news for you.

That one, you can buy for your very own, should you so desire! I actually found this one first in the process of my search yesterday--it was a bit of a red herring, but that URL in the screenshot above is how I found her name. She also designed the newer version of the Polar Music Prize and it was a happy coincidence that she also happens to be the designer who made the inverted cross necklace.
So, lesson learned: Tobias loves his local silversmiths! If you're trying to track down his stuff, Stockholm-based jewelers are probably a good start.
And yes, I did message that reddit poster to share my findings and thank them for the photo that helped solve the mystery. :)
