A Moment Of Peace
This is just an image dump from my previous trip to one of my favorite hangout spots as a man who loves Asian Culture being able to eat this kind of food gives me a feeling of peace overall. Picture #1: Crab Rangoon Picture #2:Crab & Avacado Roll,Eel & Cumcumber Roll Spicy Tuna Roll California Roll
Picture #3:Egg Foo Young Picture #4:General Tso's Chicken. I'll admit I have aristocratic tastes as I eat my Chinese food with strictly white meat, but that's a me thing; it's a matter of personal preference. The taste and texture are divine, really.
Shrimp Egg Foo Young is a popular Chinese dish made with shrimp, eggs, and various vegetables. It's a savory and satisfying meal that can be enjoyed any time of day.
Ingredients: 200g shrimp, peeled and deveined. 4 eggs. 1 cup bean sprouts. 1/2 cup chopped green onions. 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. 1 teaspoon sesame oil. 1/2 teaspoon white pepper. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying.
Instructions: Add the eggs to a bowl and beat them. Then add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, white pepper, and salt. To the egg mix, add the shrimp, bean sprouts, green onions, and cilantro, and mix everything together well. Put oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat. Add a spoonful of the egg mix to the pan to make a pancake-like shape. After two to three minutes, the bottom should be set and golden brown. Carefully turn the food over and cook the other side for another two to three minutes. Do it again with the rest of the egg mixture. Serve hot with the sauce of your choice.
