— the dragonborn and daughter of coldharbour
I think I may have a problem most people don't have in skyrim. I need to find Meridia's Beacon and can't.
So for context: About 6 months ago or so I made a skyrim save where I was gonna get to smithing 100 before starting the main quest with dragons everywhere and be constantly encumbered with their bones and scales, instead making them into weapons/armor so i could carry them around to sell in a more efficient manner.
During that time, I came across Meridia's beacon, but was very careful not to pick it up, because I didn't want to do that right now and be stuck with it in my inventory until I did it.
Fast forward to December: I came back to the save after a month and a half or so of not playing, and decided I would 100% the game with this save. I only had a few of the achievements left and I figured it would be a good thing to do before starting on the other elder scrolls games. I made decent progress and am now lvl 60.
However, when double checking that Kynareth wasn't a daedra (400+ hours and I still barely know the lore of the aedra and daedra forgive me) I saw that Dawnbreaker is needed for the Oblivion Walker Achievement, to acquire every Daedric artifact.
So I need to find Meridia's beacon. But I don't know where I left it since that was almost 6 months ago at this point. Also i worry that it may have despawned since when you go back to certain locations enemies and loot respawn.
Do I need to make a new save to get Meridia's beacon or would it still be present if I manage to find the right chest?
If it's theoretically possible to find it again, I will search for it. If spawning it in with commands won't disable achievements, then I'll do that if I can't find it.

My Skyrim Character Dovessa. She’s a Breton and a fire mage.
I’ve been playing a lot of Skyrim along with Divinity II.
I know I've said this on my. Uh. Second account I think, maybe even the first, but the whole Peyrite questline in Skyrim has me FUCKED up. A bit about me my newer mutuals may or may not know is that my sense of smell is even worse than my eyesight, so actually being able to smell someone is incredibly intimate to me (not one of my fetishes, but is still an intimate act). Not only do you have to lean over a big pot of Green to take in the scent of a dædric prince, but the way he speaks is definitely one of my favorites. There's something about his voice in he and Mora I like. They speak gently, like they're Talking to you, despite knowing how much more power they are than you. Unlike Hermaeus Mora and the rest of the princes you come across, Peyrite has a certain... Affect with how he talks to you. He's much kinder than the other numbers in the pantheon, at least in my opinion. He's more respectful. This respect, however, gives a slight flirtatiousness to his words in comparison to everyone else. It's just so different. There's no malice, no contempt — hell, I'd personally go as far as to say there's amusement or even that he feels endeared by us, if I'm feeling daring. Lastly, Peyrite is a dragon and OGWHEOUUHUHJHU ARRDHAGGAGAGAAAGgagagagahtgtjr I FUCKKNG LOVE DRAGONS DAHONGDRAGON I FUCKING LO OE DTSGONSCNRNSJDJRHDTFGGFVGJGAURI
I will not be on the Internet very soon for a long period of time because I will be leaving the country to go to Iceland and I refuse to pay for that much money for Internet. So tell me about skyrim
Skyrim is love, Skyrim is life. Actually though, it is an RPG that is very pared down to the basics from more technical ones like the earlier Elder Scrolls games I've played (Skyrim is Elder Scrolls 5), Oblivion (4), and Morrowind (3). It's fairly easy to get started as a newbie, but still has some pretty engaging stories and characters
The story itself starts with the player as a prisoner in a cart, being taken to be executed in a group of rebels against the empire, however you weren't actually one of them, you just happened to walk into an ambush. You are about to get your head chopped off when a giant black dragon attacks the town, kicking off the main plot.
Dragons were wiped out ages ago, but now they're returning! And according to prophecy, they will destroy the world unless the Dragonborn, a mortal with the soul of a dragon, stops them.
Of course, like a lot of RPGs, there's a lot to do besides the main story. You can join a Thieves Guild, a band of warriors for hire who only take jobs they think are honorable, an assassin guild, either the rebels or the empire, a magic college, an alleged bard college (everyone shits on what a lame-ass quest line that one is), orc strongholds, vampire hunters, vampires, and probably something else I'm forgetting.
Like other Bethesda games, it's known for goofy bugs and weird glitches, as well as a wild modding community
I like to split my playing between "hit everything really hard" playstyle, and "if they don't know I'm here I win"
I hope this is what "tell me about Skyrim" meant, and I'm not wildly misinterpreting
