i watched tfs the other day, so in honor of that, here's a buncha henry hcs (mostly creelby)

his favorite color is yellow. idk why, yellow just gives his vibes so much

creelby is the real blue and yellow, fucking fight me 💙💛 (i’m also a byler lol)

ordinary life creelby where patty gets really into 70s fashion when it rolls around so henry takes her shopping a lot and helps her pick outfits. it's even better bc henry has really good taste in fashion, although his style is a lot less colorful and flashy than patty's, but he def knows how to dress well. either way, he's super supportive of patty's interest in fashion and he loves all her outfits (this is inspired by a post i saw a while back of patty in a 70s outfit, idk who the poster is but the art was amazing).

ik this doesn't make any sort of logical sense, but i love the idea of patty having that southern black woman accent. bonus if she calls henry "baby" and "sugar" as her fav pet names for him (i just know he would melt every time).

henry is a fantastic singer, but he's self conscious about it, but eventually he does sing in front of patty and she just falls in love all over again.

-> they sing together a lot at home, they like to sing along to songs they like on the record player and such

the creels feel like the type of family to force their kids to play instruments. alice played piano (and hated it), and henry played cello, but actually found that he really liked it, and he never gave it up. he was in orchestra at his old school in nevada, and he was actually really good, but he didn't audition in hawkins so no one ever really found out, except patty, who he played for once (she was very impressed). anyway, lab escape au where he escapes when he's still young and goes to find patty, who is living with her mother in vegas. they're happy together, and patty's mom loves him. on henry's birthday one year, patty and her mom managed to procure a cello for him. it was the greatest gift henry had ever recieved.

henry's names for patty are "my dear", "(my) love", "darling", and "pats". he loves nicknames/pet names, and at a certain point they get so comfortable that he almost stops calling her by her real name.

i like to imagine henry escaping the lab years later when he was an adult, and going to find patty. he would look a lot different bc the last time she saw him he was an awkward teenager with way too much hair gel (courtesy of his mother i have no doubt), and now he's just grown into himself more. he's tall, he fills out his frame properly (although he's still skinny), his hair is longer now and he lets it sit more freely (death of the hair gel yippee). he's a man now, but he's still henry. still the same eyes and nose and smile and nervousness about him. but still, it's been years. patty hasn't seen him since he was 14. and now he's... hot. like, really hot. patty makes sure to remind him of this at every opportunity, bc it makes henry all blushy and stupid and she loves it.

lab escape au where henry and el escape, but instead of being homeless for the next two years (like in my regular lab escape au), they make their way to las vegas. henry tells el that he has a friend there who can help them. he's losing his shit the whole bus ride to vegas bc omg it's patty fucking newby, he hasn't seen her since he almost killed her when they were 14 (he used his powers to find her and make sure she was okay before even enacting this plan, so he knows she's alive). what will she do? what will she say? what will HE say? will she hate him? will she even recognize him? and he's freaking out but he has to keep it all inside so he doesn't scare el. anyway, they show up to patty and her mom's place, very sad and adorable creelby reuinion, etc, etc. henry and el stay with them instead of ever going back to hawkins, and creelby raises el. she knows they're not her parents, but she loves them as though they were real family. and el is okay with not having parents, bc she has her big brother and his gf, and his gf's mom who is basically her grandma atp. uhhh yeah idk i love this au a lot.
