the problem is that *lkann fundamentally does not understand how the sport works. your drivers are NOT magical cure-alls that will win you championships based off pure talent, the championship begins in the car concept and if you refuse to hire the breadth and depth of experience needed you will fail! you will fail!
I agree with Jenson. Go talk to your drivers and if you did keep it professional and private. Also now it just shows that Ferrari top management is probably screwed up?!
Cause what tf was that.. there is so many issues with the car that shows this isn’t the drivers at fault… cause the drivers aren’t causing lico to be constantly used or the amount of inconsistency with the car’s quality?!
It was such a stupid comment
john elkann, shut the fuck up. this is exactly why your team hasn’t won anything in forever. this is so unbelievably infuriating, i hope lewis is as angry as we are. something needs to change, ferrari’s drivers are not respected at all.
It's bringing me so much joy seeing all the comments about John Elkkan under any posts of Ferrari.
I fucking hate that dude. Less talking and more driving. How about you shut the fuck up.
You can't have LEWIS FUCKING HAMILTON and charles leclerc as your drivers and say shit like this when they criticize YOUR poor management and RIGHTLY SO!
I've had some time to cool off from the Brazilian GP and I just need to rant for a bit.
The blame for Charles' DNF after the safety car restart is split 70/30 to Antonelli and Piastri respectively.
Seeing Antonelli fans infantilise him and try so hard to remove the blame off of him, even when we have evidence that he could have used the space Charles gave him going into the turn, is actually insane.
He decided to close into the inside line giving Piastri no space to navigate the corner, which in turn caused Piastri to brake too hard and lock up, resulting in him hitting Antonelli's car and Antonelli hitting Charles, ending his race.
Antonelli's fans don't want to acknowledge that had he been penalised properly, he probably would've lost that podium.
That being said Piastri was very opportunistic with that corner. As a F1 driver with 2 more years of experience over Antonelli, he should've known that no driver would give up their race line for him on the inside and should've let Antonelli pass and then try to overtake at a more reasonable place. However, he did NOT deserve that 10 second penalty. Even a 5 second would've been harsh but at least justifiable. Antonelli should've got the brunt of the blame, but it seems like his lack of F1 experience made them more lenient.
However, that being said, I will NOT allow Antonelli fans continue to baby him. He is a 19 year old F1 driver in one of the top teams in the sport. He is now the reason for BOTH of Charles' DNFs, as well as Max's (although that was a Lap 1 race incident, so it's more forgivable) and BOTH times he has got away scot-free and this time it's even more agregious because he got a podium as a result. A podium that Charles would've definitely got, given his recent form in the previous 2 races. He should understand by now that he can't do shit like that, but unfortunately, he might never learn because he never suffers the consequences of his own stupidity.
His fans want to tote him as Rookie of the Year as if his European leg of the season wasn't absolutely atrocious. Yes the car had it's problems (Imola and Monaco for example), but when we got to Monza and he was overtaken in points by Alex in a WILLIAMS, I knew he was not the driver Mercedes and his fans were making him out to be.
IMO Rookie of the year is between Isack and Bearman. Both options, I am in support of (Although I don't appreciate Bearman fans trying to compare his rookie season to Charles' now that he has the same amount of points that Charles won in 2018. You cannot compare the Alfa Romeo in 2018 to Haas in 2025. They are not even in the same regulations era. Bearman fans need to be quiet and fans of other drivers need to stop comparing their drivers to Charles).
Also, seeing Charles fans glaze the fuck out of Max's race in Brazil (even though it was impressive) and acting like it's the best thing they've seen all season, is kinda pissing me off. Like Charles did the same thing last year in Abu Dhabi (without SCs).
Also Fuck John Elkann.
things you love to see
We have one driver that is giving his prime years to Ferrari with unwavering loyalty and dedication and has only been rewarded with mediocrity and incompetence from all levels.
On the other hand, we have a hugely experienced and respected driver that could have easily retired by now, giving the team a much-needed outside analysis of what needs to be changed and where the team needs reform.
You have two of the most talented drivers in the world, world-class facilities, and a basically bottomless budget. Idk if elkann realises that if ferrari can’t win with a leclerc-hamilton lineup then there’s no other drivers that could win in ferrari 😭
