Cornered: A Subway Surfers Fanfic
Summary: Spike and Lucy corner Jake.
(P.S., yes, I'm just realizing now that I colored Lucy's hair the wrong way, don't get on my ass.)
Jake was just grabbing his stuff from his locker, his friends (and Ella, maybe?) stood beside him.
"So what do you guys want to do after school?", he asked. "Same time, same place?"
"Yeah. Skate park after school.", said Fresh.
"Y'all go on ahead, but I have other plans. I'm going straight home and watching TV.", said Frizzy. Fresh rolled her eyes, "Whatever, sis. You do you."
Just then, people began running around in the hallway for their lives and screaming. Jake and his friends wondered what all the fuss was about, and when they looked to see where the screaming was coming from, their eyes widened and their breaths caught in their throats for a moment.
Lucy Gilbert, Spike (Spencer) Freeman, Callum Caster, and Nina Sparks.
The Painting Giants were a heavy metal band at school, and they were all a group of gothic and emo rebels.
Lucy, she's a senior in high school, but graduating is the last thing on her mind. She just wants her band to succeed so they can finally leave this stupid town where the subway runs right above the freaking apartment buildings.
Spike, also a senior. He's the black sheep of his family, and people are mostly afraid of him for his large size and angry looks. He's best friends with Lucy and mostly helps her with writing most of their songs.
Callum, she's a junior. She's considered to be the wildest one of the group, and she definitely lives up to her title. With how loud and thunderous she plays the drums, it's like a fight is about to start.
Nina, she's also a junior. Though she's the only one who's the most concerned about her school work, she balances that out with practicing new songs with her band members. Not as terrifying as her friends, but she will give you the most terrifying side eye you've ever seen that will make you judge yourself.
The band walked all the way to where Jake and his friends were standing, and Lucy stood in front of them all.
"Which one of you is Jake?", she asked.
Jake looked at his friends as they slipped away, and Tricky looked back at him with eyes that said "We'll meet after school, promise."
Now Jake was cornered by Spike and Lucy while Nina and Callum stood on the side.
"Yep. I'm Jake.", Jake nervously said. "Can I help you guys?"
"My friend Spike told me that you seem to have a history in sneaking into the old subway station and running from Paul Blart and Courage the cowardly dog whenever he catches you.", said Lucy. "How do you even get past him?"
"How do you even get into the place anyway?", asked Spike.
Jake looked at the band, confused. "Why do you guys want to know?", he asked.
"We need a new place to play our music. None of our houses are good places, thanks to our parents and stupid neighbors. And the auditorium always has people coming in and out for stupid reasons.", said Lucy. "And from the way I see it, the subway station sounds like the perfect practice place. So how do you get in and past Lutz?"
Jake shrugged, feeling a little smug. "I know a way, but it's gonna cost you -"
Spike cracked his knuckles.
"Absolutely nothing!", Jake quickly said before he explained.
"Okay, so in the skate park where me and my friends hang out, the place with only one ramp, there's a hole in the fence. The hole leads to the subway station, and if you want to get past Officer Lutz, I suggest maybe finding a way to disable the cameras so he won't catch you guys getting in. Maybe spray paint them or something?"
The band members exchanged a look, then looked back at Jake.
"Thanks, Jake.", said Lucy.
Her and her band members walked away, and Jake just ran the opposite direction to catch up with his friends.
He didn't know why, but something told him that he should've warned those guys about the man in the bunny mask that might be there, but maybe the man won't even be there. After all, he's after Jake, no one else.
Still, he had a bad feeling.
