i finished this book about a week ago, still cannot move on; i feel that MC need more screentime with her LI, this story is in very fast-pace, i need book 2 for this .... i still have a bunch of questions the book hasn't answered.
Every time I watch this, I literally can't hold my tears.
While other kids were amazed by how the scary General Ghost can be very polite and can socialize, Wen Ning tried to wake Sizhui's old memories by giving him the toy he lost at Burial Mounds. And when Sizhui pulled out the exact same toy that he bought? There goes the broken dam; this scene is very intense because it kinda got 2 purposes, 1 awaking happy memories of Sizhui, 2 was awaking the sad memories of Jin Ling.
Guys, try to watch this episode without shed a single tear.
Oh, and btw, I don't think Wen Ning bought that toy ... I think he found it inside the cave or under a ruined house at Burial Mounds (he and Wei Ying are pretty much broke remember?!). Wen Ning, who thought all his family were dead found out that his little brother? Nephew? 🤷♀️ is living his life very well and more than that he is under the protection of Hanguan Jun 😭
Still my most favourite scene in the entire show, yes it's a sad moment but also beautiful on the other hand (the way Wei Ying falls and Lan Zhan held his body it's perfection)
And I noticed Lan Zhan's voice when he spoke as Zidian & Bichen clashing against one another, LZ voice is a very low but in commanding tone of voice that almost sound like a growl to me ...
I love a man who has a low voice 😏😏😏
P.S. did you guys see after Wei Ying wiped the blood he held LZ's hand that's been holding his arm? But after the 2 weapons clashed, WY's hand falls ... 😌👌
At this point, Wei Ying has even lower fame than Wen Ning and his reaction is 💎💎💎 😅, I, of course, understand very well of Wei Ying been a little bit sad about this because in his previous life he is used to people in awe and praises him for his talent, etc. He is used to be the subject of gossips and worship from the female and jealousy from the male cultivators.

Sizhui and Jingyi also automatically do a human shield for their dad 😅 Sizhui was like "Young master Jin, please take a few steps back and stay that way or I could hurt you even though I don't want to" (with his usual politeness and the manner of gold); Jingyi on the other hand, who inherits his papa's lack of manner was like "Hey little princess, don't think because you are the PRINCESS of Lanling Jin you can do whatever to whomever you wish, I can beat your ass and I have my dad here that will surely add up your misery into another level. Yes, your uncles are important people but that won't stop me to completely ruin your smug face. Don't fuck with my family" 🤨

After the fight with Xue Yang and found out Xiao Xingchen is dead, Lan Zhan has this reaction when he sees Song Lang. Of course, he 1.000% knows how it feels like ... The worse part is Xiao Xingchen would never be back, unlike Wei Ying, Lan Zhan has these mixed feelings between sad for Song Lan and grateful that he was given the 2nd chance to be with his bae.
It is all written on his face ... Take a good look at him, he was trying to say something to comfort Song Lan, but he knows that there is no word that can make the situation better, so rather than giving false comfort, he'd rather give Suanghua to Song Lan. then as Song Lan leaving he turned his attention to Wei Ying, again that reaction is on his face, thinking "how fortunate we are"
The TRUE Nie Huaisang finally showed. And it took freaking 50 episodes to finally able to see his true self.
Even Wei Ying is a little bit sceptical about NHS true intention, thinking NHS would like to gain the title "CHIEF CULTIVATOR" for himself. And I agreed with NHS, I know that he is not the type of person who is power lust. He believed that each and everyone has their own path to lead, he is just someone who wanted to take revenge upon his beloved brother untimely death.
He has this carefree life and spent his time enjoying life until someone forced their hands and killed his bro, with that his life is drastically changed, mourning NMJ's while taking over the Sect's position which he never thought would do. It was very hard on him (again, in my opinion) he literary has no one to lean on.
Mengyao may be a crafty man, but NHS is too cunning. To start the plot of resurrecting Wei Ying through Mo Xuanyu & etc while letting the world know he is a weak unreliable man who cannot do his job well because back then he was too busy having parties and read adult magazines. Nie Huaisang, you really fooled me.

Ok Folks, Jiang Cheng has lost his usual "Angry looking-bearing" in 000000.5 sec 😹.
The moment Wei Ying took off his mask, JC was like "Bro you have no idea how long I have been waiting for you" but then his anger issues are taking over his heart as he remembers that Lan Zhan was the first person Wei Ying could think of and went to. That breaks his heart.

I'm pretty sure he used Wen Ning as an excuse. I know that words meant for Lan Zhan, angry Cheng still holds grudges to his bro's relationship with Wangji; the jealousy is still burning strongly in his heart.

Which is not true angry-Cheng, Wei Ying intended to avoid everybody ... But luck is not being on his side atm so he kinda screwed up everything. That's just him ... Don't take it to heart ... Look it this way, he may be with Wangji but his Golden Core lives within you forever. You have something of him; something that no one even has the thought to do so ... That's showed us that you are that important to Wei Ying 💜
