New addition to my office is a great reminder for this month's editing deadline. Chapter 12 finished today...
To WIP or not to WIP, that is the question...
Yeah. Finally have the motivation to write, but stuck on what. Work on this endless WIP I have going? Because while it's done, I keep revising it because I suck at writing action scenes- of which I have two included.
Or try and find inspiration for something new for a one-shot? Because I have absolutely nothing for inspiration right now. (Usually I get inspiration from my life, but my life has gotten rather boring after the last few inspirations I've had. A good thing, I guess.)
Hmmm.
Or maybe I'll just take a nap. A nap sounds nice.
I've been working on something for a bit now for a writing challenge and it might be ready to start sharing soon. I haven't posted anything new in almost two weeks and it's giving me an itch.
What I have is a longer tale split into parts with the most world building I've ever done. And once it passes another round of editing, it'll be here.
Here's a question for those of you who see this:
Do you prefer to read one gigantic whale of a story all at once in one or two posts? Or would you rather have several smaller, bite-sized chapters posted daily until the story concludes?
I know I prefer reading the latter, but I'd rather post it as others prefer reading it.
Upcoming posts
Only two days until I post the conclusion to the series I've been posting on here. You know, the one I've been obsessively editing and partially rewriting every few days. Technically I wrote this part first, then backtracked to the beginning. So many ideas incorporated into that one.
Oh, and there's a minor, completely unrelated, one-shot I'll be posting tomorrow too. Which I've only edited once or twice then left to rot in my fan-fiction folder of my google drive. Editing that might just keep me from touching the other one...
I'm working on other things too, just not sure where any of that is going at this point. Maybe I'll expand some of the non-writing challenge things I've written this month? Maybe I'll continue things in my WIP folder? I could even start something completely new.
Even I don't know at this point.
If any of my followers (all, what, five of you?) have things you want to see from me in the future, please message me! I can't say 100% if it'll get done or be done anywhere near well, but there's always a chance.
Part 2 of my New York Series:
Footage from the city of blinding lights with the best group of friends from all over America. I would do it all over again if I had the chance to. Enjoy!

David is home for three whole days. Actually he's not. We're going up to the retreat center tonight, which is too bad because I bet Mr. Bearcy would have liked to see the 400 lb. Tara statue made in Nepal. I don't know how he feels about Tibetan Buddhism, but I'm not a Buddhist. I just go to sit on the amazing porch and drink coffee while looking at the White Mountains.
The Rhyme Ruined This Blog
Writing is endless editing. You write to edit. There are always better words, better sentence construction, better organization of paragraphs and better-sounding grammar. New ideas butt in after reading and rereading what you thought you have perfectly written. Plus those unintended rhymes which make you stop writing and just end a blog like this.
