Sylvia Tilly was initially a very nervous cadet, she becomes a very confident officer, mentor and instructor. She is intelligent, quirky, empathetic, compassionate and very supportive to her fellow crew mates. Tilly is a breath of fresh air during all the intense, high-stakes environment of Star Trek: Discovery, and I was so happy to see her bring her unique self to Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.

Played to perfection by the beautiful and talented Mary Wiseman, Sylvia Tilly is a character that the Star Trek universe needed.
