Honestly even with the revised lyrics, Epic III is such an incredibly beautiful and gorgeous song.
I swear Hadestown can do nothing wrong.

Honestly even with the revised lyrics, Epic III is such an incredibly beautiful and gorgeous song.
I swear Hadestown can do nothing wrong.
The last verses of Epic 3 reminds me of Achilles during the Trojan War
“What has become of the heart of that man, now that the man is king? What has become of the heart of that man, now that he has everything?”
“He’s grown so afraid that he’ll lose what he owns. But what he doesn’t know is that what he’s defending, is already gone.”
“Where is the treasure inside of your chest? Where is your pleasure? Where is your youth? Where is the man with his hat in his hand? Who stands in the garden with nothing to lose,”
Damon Daunno's vibrato on the line "And suddenly Hades was only a man"
the other side from the greatest showman but it’s crowley convincing demon!dean to be kings of hell together
Epic 3 in the live recording is really unparalleled, the silence of everything and everyone while Damon sings is breathtaking
me: god my head hurts and it feels kind of foggy...... me: hasnt eaten anything in 12 hours
I love Reeve’s voice, I’ve literally cried because of I how much I want to see him sing live..
And though I’ve listened to the Live version.
I prefer Reeve’s epics over Damon Daunno. It wasn’t until listened to Epic ||| Live edited so it sounds like it’s being preformed in a cathedral
That I fell in love with Damon Daunno’s ability to control his voice.
I want to be able to experience them both as Orpheus on Broadway (and how Daunno plays with the new score)
