Being blessed by the rhythmic cadence of a sister from Africa

Having PHM “Connection” playing in my mind as I recall about the Golden Record flying through space

Passing through time and eternity, linking all people of earth in their desire to connect

And how that mirrors what I feel, what I picture, when I think of my human family in the temple

Glory to Be Revealed

Wondering if your current pain will ever make sense or lead to anything good?

Your present struggle is writing a story of future glory that you can't see yet.

Romans 8:18 gives us this eternal perspective: "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us."

Paul doesn't minimize suffering - he puts it in perspective. He doesn't say suffering doesn't hurt - he says it doesn't compare to what's coming.

"Present sufferings" are temporary - they have an expiration date. "Glory to be revealed" is eternal - it will last forever.

That heartbreak you're walking through? It's developing compassion in you that will minister to others. That financial struggle you're facing? It's building trust muscles that will serve you for life. That health challenge you're battling? It's revealing strength you didn't know you had.

The glory isn't just waiting for you in heaven - it's being revealed IN you right now through your perseverance.

Every tear you cry in faith is watering seeds of future testimony. Every day you choose hope over despair is building eternal character. Every moment you trust God in the darkness is creating light for others to follow.

Today, remember that your present chapter is not your final story.

Things Above

Feeling weighed down by all the chaos and negativity around you?

Your mind is like a garden - whatever you plant there will grow and multiply.

Colossians 3:2 gives us this life-changing instruction: "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things."

"Set your minds" isn't a one-time decision - it's a daily, moment-by-moment choice about where you direct your thoughts.

Things above: God's promises, His faithfulness, eternal perspective, His love for you. Earthly things: worry, gossip, comparison, fear, temporary circumstances.

When you focus on earthly things, you shrink your problems down to human-sized solutions. When you focus on things above, you expand your perspective to God-sized possibilities.

That financial stress consuming your thoughts? Set your mind on God's provision. That relationship conflict dominating your emotions? Focus on His peace and wisdom. That fear about the future stealing your joy? Fix your thoughts on His sovereignty.

You can't control what happens around you, but you can control what happens in your mind.

Today, every time your thoughts drift downward to earthly worries, consciously redirect them upward to heavenly truths.

Your perspective determines your peace.
