The “Batgirl” movie wraps today in Glasgow after filming for 5 months!!! :D Very excited to see how this turns out as Barbara’s been one of my favorite female superheroes since I was little and finally getting her own movie. Plus having Michael Keaton be back as Bruce/Batman and J.K. Simmons as Jim Gordon, and this now shared past they have due to the timeline changes and the younger Robin on the mural with Keaton’s Batman. Brendan Fraser as Firefly. Also to see Alysia in live-action, if Jacob’s character is Tony Bressi and/or Killer Moth, and if Ethan is Jason Bard like what’s been said. Also supposedly Dylan O’Brien, Jurnee Smolett, and Gal Gadot filmed their scenes already in studio (LA for Dylan, London for Jurnee, and Gal was spotted in Glasgow) so they’ll likely make us wait till either DC Fandome or till this gets released before we know for sure they’re in it. This movie also is supposed to set up both the “Nightwing” and “Black Canary” films and possibly tease a “Red Hood” film too (which The CW getting told they can’t use Barbara, Dick, Jason, or Tim for “Gotham Knights” a huge factor for this as normally they only do that to The CW shows if they’re upcoming movies). It’ll be a long wait but so excited for all of this and a big congrats to the cast/crew!!! :D

Leslie Grace Shares “Batgirl” Image

Star Leslie Grace has shared the first image of herself as Batgirl. Along with the above image, Grace also quoted Batgirl: Year One: “I use their expectations against them. That will be their weakness. Not mine. Let them all underestimate me… And when their guard is down, and their pride is rising, let me kick their butts.”

Batgirl also stars J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Brendan Fraser as Firefly, and Michael Keaton as Batman along with Rebecca Front, Corey Johnson, and Ethan Kai in undisclosed roles. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will direct from a script by Christina Hodson.
