here's my thoughts :

THEY NEED TO FUCK OK i'm sorry i said it. Yes i am apart of the maddyrue nation. The trailer has convinced me and now im all in #MADDYRUE

i NEEEEED to know where this is heading... my guess is she's helping cassie to ragebait nate .. and apparently they have a lot of scenes together so i feel like it's gonna be smth more than that.. i kinda missed my gfs together💔

I genuinely need her strap like that's daddy!!!! HELLOO. I actually can't handle her on my screen like i'm moaning every time. And i BETTER SEE YALL WRITE FOR HER ON HERE WHEN THE SEASON IS OUT! #INEEDSMUT

Other than the heartbreak of Rue's fate, I really really hate how we just... Don't know who these characters are anymore. We have no idea what the direction of their lives could even look like now in our imaginations after that finale. As much of a mess as season 2 was, we still had an identifiable path for these people to potentially go on.

There was all this potential for how things could play out for them, but with the ending of this season, all I see is nothingness ahead of them. Sam's given me nothing to hold onto to imagine what their lives will be like beyond this, because I don't know what these characters are meant to do for me anymore.

Like, what is Jules doing with her life? Like, actually? Does she wanna become a serious artist who makes a living off her art? Would she ever consider going back to school? Why did she quit so abruptly when she could've been a sugar baby to fund her studies? What are her thoughts on men & femininity, on the journey she's on re her trans identity, how does that inform how she navigates sex work? Whatever happened with her mom and that relationship? Did she ever confront Rue about how badly she treated her, particularly during the scene where Rue's drug use is exposed and she & Elliott are there?

How can we never know any more details about Lexi & Fez's rship? Like, did she just get over him after the raid? How often were they in touch before Lexi decided to stop reaching out? Did things ever get explicitly romantic between them? Why did we never see her and Cassie work thru their issues with each other? Why did we never explore Lexi's feelings of resentment, abandonment, neglect, her insecurities, that stemmed from her family & upbringing? What exactly was the "stuff" she needed to work out before she could consider working with Cassie? Was it guilt & grief over Rue? Was it reluctance to work with someone as unpredictable as her sister? Does she feel she has a better chance at advancing her career as a writer on that TV show, or any production, instead?

What's Cassie gonna do now? Now that crazy things aren't happening to her, she has nothing immediate to react (badly) to, what does she do? What kinda decisions does she make moving forward? Bc she especially (& Rue) wasn't making choices about what was happening in her life. She was reacting to her circumstances, picking whatever seemed most appealing that was made available to her, but never making active decisions. So what would that girl do now that Nate's gone and apparently nobody else knows what happened to him or that he's even dead? Does she still wanna be famous? Does she still want to act? The wanting of fame tracks with who we know her to be, but what would her preferred path to that be? If she worked through some of her issues, would she even want to be a public figure?

Is Maddy really gonna continue on with being a madam? She no longer has Alamo to worry about, she's made some money from her dealings with Cassie and could probably still do that on the side, but what (other than just making money) does she want to do? Does she still want to represent celebrities? I thought the OF management thing & then the Alamo mess was her just trying to create a safety net for herself financially. That it was a means to an end, but not the ultimate career goal. Even tho she said she wants to do what she's been doing on a bigger scale when she first met Alamo, does she, really? How did we never see her have a candid conversation with Cassie about her betrayal? She's dealing with Cassie's mess all over again and we're just never gonna know exactly what she feels/still feels for Cassie, or even Nate? How has the abuse she experienced in the past shaped her worldview, now? Has she been in any romantic relationships since Nate, if so, how'd she navigate them? Like, how can we just gloss over the abuse she endured from Nate and the lasting effects of that??

Why is Sam so fucking uninterested in his own characters?!?! Why wouldn't he want us to explore these things!?! Didn't Euphoria start off as a character study with some plot to thread it all together?? When did he decide the characters and their inner worlds were no longer things he wanted to write?!? Who the fuck approved & greenlit literally any of the scripts??? How could HBO possibly be satisfied with the fuck-ass writing of this season???

I started euphoria and I’m on ep 5 season 2 and rue is going to literally die… no way she doesn’t after her mom got ride of her drugs from Lauri •᷄∩•᷅ THIS SHOW IS SOOO STRESSFUL omg I actually might quit this 

Also Jules why would you start sleeping with Eliot you were literally being paranoid that rue would do that but the moment you’re alone with him you do?!?!?!?! Make it make sense like…

i understand if you don’t feel attraction to someone you should break it off but am i the only one a lil upset that my boy Ethan got a really shitty breakup while everyone is in love with gaslighting, manipulative, abusive, violent asshole Nate Jacobs? i also really liked Kat last season but the way she responded to Cassie’s whole betrayal thing and what she said to Ethan was just not it for me

why did jules barely get shown this season??? what was up with the random Kat scene during lexis play?? no mention of McKay or mention of cassie's abortion OR maddy's whole home situation with her parents since when does ash jus like killing ppl??? this whole season was everywhere and nowhere at the same time
