the shimmer theory was correct! But also holy fucking shit I was not prepped for all of that-

As soneone who copes with their own trauma via making goofy and very traumatized ocs mephone is a very relatable character to me, and I love tge concept of ocs facing their creator for everything they did to them, even if I know my ocs would instantly kill me

Also can we not go feral about the mephone age thing? I don't care if he's an adult, a child, some weird secret 3rd robot option, as an adult you can still identify with a potentially younger character, it's not that big a deal

I liked that cobs was trying to make mephone scream to summon the shimmer, he knew that their lost child itself screaming would be enough to make them show up,

also ngl kinda mood- like, I get not everyone's gonna relate to that ending specifically but like, getting so caught up in your ocs' and stories, to the point they feel real, like they're their own people beyond you, they feel like the friends you never got to have irl, only for real life to pop up, having to go back to family figures you don't trust, abusive or dismissive, family that feels like a threat, that isn't even your actual parents, that, honestly hit a little hard for me-

My feelings on this ending are just, weird, I like it, I love how everyone went beyond just mephones first draft ideas for them during the series, the lack of proper closer is honestly relatable if this really is the end,
