A character who keeps reminding the other(s) how they "have just been sick" and "not yet 100%" and how they absolutely can not get chilled now.
So they end up really cold, teeth clattering, perhaps soaked. Of course they do.
And now their nose is blocked tight again after a couple of days of a breather, and they're sneezing their precious head off, perhaps worse than before. And they can't even get sympathy because they're being such a bitch about it. Oh how much they would love some sympathy, even just a little, just s bit of gentle pity, but they're sabotaging themself by being sullen, accusatory ass.
Poor devil.
Edit: Perhaps eventually someone takes pity on them, but also says something about how they would be treated more nicely if they weren't being such a bitch about it. Sick character can't quite decide if they should be enraged, ashamed, cry a bit, or just sneeze

She’s been flirting with Marty Scurll all afternoon— there’s some kind of language barrier between them, because her English isn’t the best and neither is his Japanese. In fact, his Japanese is limited to ‘hi’, ‘how are you’, and ‘I like birds’, which she doesn’t understand but doesn’t question (he tells her later that it was the first phrase he was taught).
But she knows she’s in for it. Evil has been staring at her— glaring at her— during it all, and there’s an unspoken conversation they have over catering later; her punishment? It’s not going to be pretty.
She can’t help herself, though… Marty is a very attractive man and Takahashi, who she’s the closest with from LIJ, enjoys the man’s company when they’re not wrestling each other.
“Mai, come. We’re going.”
Evil demands her like a pet. A dark flush colours her cheeks and she obeys him without question, smiles bashfully at Marty and Hiromu because she knows they’ll finish their conversation about English villains later. Marty gives Hiromu a questioning glance, but the Japanese wrestler just raises his shoulder. This is normal, the movement says, this is Evil.
There’s a moment between their silent ride home where Evil rests his hand on her bare thigh. He squeezes, hard, and Mai digs her nails into her palm to stop from yelling. But the action isn’t what scares her. It’s the silence.
“Evil…”
“Shut up.”
A yelp falls from her mouth when he drags her into the apartment by her hair, tosses her into their room so harshly that she lands on her hands and knees. The door slams shut and Mai watches as Evil rips off his button down, soft muscles tensing with the movement and showing a strength she doesn’t have any chance of fending off.
“Was your plan to flirt with him until I couldn’t take it?” Evil asks, and he rips the belt from his jeans before slamming it into the floor like a whip. Her entire body recoils away from the sound in fear. “Was your plan to fuck him while I wasn’t looking?”
“No, no, Evil, please— we were just talking—“
“Don’t lie to me, Mai!” Yells Evil, and he blames the belt down on the floor again, this time closer to her, and this time much, much harder. “Tell me! What did you expect to happen when we got home? That I’d just roll over and not react?”
Tears start to well in her eyes. “Evil, stop— please, you’re scaring me—“
“Goddamn right, you should be scared of me!” Evil yells at her. He throws the belt against the ground and then his mouth is down by her ear, knees and arms caging her beneath him. “Who’s in control?”
Mai’s breath stutters, and she has to coach herself to say, “…you.”
“That’s right; I’m in control. Not you. You flirt when I tell you to. You look at another man only when I tell you to. You breathe when I tell you to. Do I make myself fucking clear?”
She’s nodding before she can do anything else, and then he’s dragging her up onto the bed, pushing her stomach down onto it before ripping up her dress. Her panties are pale pink and do little to conceal how her body is reacting to his dominance.
“Look at you, you filthy little slut; you’re so fucking wet. I’ve not touched you and you’re already begging me.”
Blue and purple hair fall into the line of her vision as he leans over the length of her body. His hard length grinds into her ass and Mai whimpers, bites her lip. She’s torn halfway between feeling ashamed and dirty.
Evil lets his teeth graze the top of her ear. “You’re not going to come until I tell you to, okay? You’re going to take it until I decide I’ve had enough. Nod your head if you understand.”
She nods her head.
Evil pulls her panties down her thighs and without any prep, he pushes into her until there’s nothing left. Mai moans loudly at the feeling and tries to adjust but has no chance— the pace Evil sets as he pounds into her almost shifts the bed out of its spot. Every thrust he bottoms out, every thrust she cries in the shock of it.
“Who do you belong to?” He yells, slapping her ass, and Mai yells in shock and pain and pleasure and she’s starting to lose track of what she’s feeling and where she’s feeling it.
“I can’t— I can’t—“
“Who do you belong to?!”
“You! I belong to you!”
His hands fall to her hips to bring her back into his thrusts, and the movements are so harsh that she’s screaming, begging him to let her finish— and as soon as he gives her permission, her own fingers find the bundle of nerves at the base of her spine. She screams with her release. Her body shakes almost violently and she doesn’t even feel Evil pull out, but then he’s flipping her over and pumping his cock and she knows what to do. Evil comes into her mouth, hot liquid spilling over her tongue. He’s swearing, hairs raising over his skin.
When he can, Evil steps back and spits at her, “You’re damn fucking right you belong to me. Don’t forget it.”
“Babe, you cannot be fully angelic unless you possess the ability to be truly evil; goodness is a choice. It is feeling the power of darkness and walking the other way, no matter how painful. It is looking in the mirror with open eyes and learning how to change until you love who you are. Goodness is an exercise in free will; this life will reveal all within you, yet choose wisely the pieces with which you build yourself. All roads back into the light are pain ten fold, your soul a magnifying glass for your guilt. Take heart, be brave, acknowledge and own your capacity for evil - for it is only by the darkness that the brilliance of pure light can shine as a beacon for others. Your destiny is to lead, not from your own demand, but because you are the brightest star in this black night.”
“When I’m done with you, you will be a blemish on their fragile little psyches. I will twist your tale until all your moralities are stained in corruption. Until only I hold the remembrance of the hero you so aspired to be.”
U should continue the superlane prompt from the evil anon ;]
Thanks for the prompt!
Part 1
Bright lights were the first thing that met Kara’s senses.Soon after came the pain. It was so shocking and so sudden and so much that shetried to cry out, but her voice was too hoarse. Instead a crackling and fractured whimper came from her throat.
Then came the voices.
“Kara!”
“She’s awake!”
“Oh my god!”
Kara looked around the room, trying to see anything but fluorescentlights. Eventually she was able to blink her way back into visual clarity, andshe could see machines and wires and people and big white bandages coveringevery inch of her abdomen. But there was one face in particular she was lookingfor.
“Lucy.” She rasped out with a broken murmur.
“I’m here, Kara. I’m right here.” Came the gentle, soothingvoice that could belong to no other. Kara searched for it, turning her head andmeeting finally the warm hazel eyes she adored so much. Little glistening tearswere forming in them, and Kara instantly wanted to wipe them away. She reachedup with a trembling hand and touched Lucy’s face, fingers gracing across thesoft skin and swiping at the water falling down her cheeks.
“I love you, Lucy Lane.” Kara whispered.
“I love you, Kara Danvers.” Said Lucy in a hushed reverenttone.
“It hurts.” Kara whimpered then, fighting to keep her handon Lucy’s face, to continue the connection, but her arm was beginning to tremorviolently. Seeing this, Lucy took the hand in both of hers and brought it torest once more, but did not let go.
“I know, I know baby. This is going to help with that, okay? The doctors have something for you. Alex designed a special needle that canpuncture your skin so they can give you medicine faster. But it has to havejust a little bit of kryptonite in it to do that.” Kara’s eyes went wide andfilled with terror at the mention of the green mineral, and she began shakingher head.
Lucy nodded her own head in response, understanding Kara’s fear. WhenAlex had told her about the needle she had begun yelling at how irresponsibleit was to willingly introduce kryptonite into Kara’s system. But she’d beenconvinced to try it as she watched Kara’s vitals drop further and furtherwithout blood and fluids being administered.
“It sounds awful doesn’t it?” Lucy said as calmly as shecould. “But it’s safe. It’s such a little amount it won’t hurt you. See thattube in your arm there? That’s it right there. I know it pinches, but it’s justan IV really. The docs are going to put some morphine in it now, okay Kara?”
Tears were streaming from Kara’s eyes, sliding from thecorners of her eyes down the sides of her cheeks and pooling on the pillowbeneath her head. Lucy squeezed Kara’s hand and stroked her hair trying tooffer any comfort possible.
“Are you okay?” Kara spoke again in a moment, voice tiny.
Completely befuddled, Lucy opened her mouth to answer butnothing came out. Kara watched her with blue eyes round and serious, waitingfor an answer and growing more concerned.
“Did I save you?” She choked out.
Lucy’s whole body struck with the realization of what Kara wasasking, her expression morphing from bemusement to saddened concern. Shecontinued stroking Kara’s hair and gave the blonde woman her best smile throughher tears.
“Yes, Kara. You saved me. Thank you so much. But you’rehurt, and now we need to focus on getting you better, okay?” Lucy spoke softly.
“Okay.” Kara’s voice was fading as was her alertness. “Lucy,”she whispered, “It doesn’t hurt as much anymore.”
Lucy looked up to the doctor and he nodded at her gentlywith a smile, letting her know it was the morphine kicking in, and Lucybreathed a little sigh of relief. Not long after, the effects of the drug begantugging heavily on Kara, and the heroine’s eyes closed as she began drowning ina morphine induced slumber.
