I find it very unlikely that fs have grown old during the time gap: it's just impossible that the chronicoms have waited around for 30/40 years without working out a plan to take the earth (or find another home). Yes i know, time is different for them (enoch spent thousands of years on earth), but in s6 we've seen the hunters act very fast: in just a few days they kidnapped fs, arrived on earth, invaded the lighthouse ecc, so such a big shift in the pacing of the story would be strange

This is an excellent point!  Their take over of earth I assume started after they took down the Lighthouse so when the team returns there that point in time is likely where the fight could lie. Because yes, once the Chronicoms decide to act not only is the decision made quickly but the action is too.

This could also be a hint for me that in order to get FItzsimmons the time they needed they did something else that would buy them more time IE something like using the Framework or some other tech or some weird hold in time Enoch hid them in.
