dear mr. lost writers, i know it’s been 7 years since the show ended but lemme just ask you a question. am i to understand that in the lost universe, people with magic powers are more common than queer people?

LOST i demand an explanation #are you telling me incest is more acceptable to show on television than men & men or women & women in a relationship?#or even just a casual mention of orientation?#sir LOST - if that is your real name - am i expected to believe that on an island of 30+ characters... many of which are prominent #am i expected to believe they're all straight?#i know being straight is rather common #but i still think that's statistically unlikely #that goes a bit beyond my willing suspension of disbelief #in a world of magic and monsters and people who have powers just because #i don't think it would've been too unbelievable to have somebody be gay or lesbian or bi #i'd say ace and trans and pan too but such things would probably considered a ''challenge'' back then #but nonetheless... you take the time to create these characters #from various races and faiths and ages and even neurodivergences #and with a variety of backgrounds of abuse!#and yet not a single LGBTA+ character #except for tom #whom was a supporting villian #and when his boyfriend kissed him on the cheek #one of our main characters WRINKLED THEIR NOSE UP #because its tom #so altho that's nice (his actor did play him as gay after all) ya know...#you didn't have to stop. main characters? supporting characters? good people??#all lost characters are flawed and im fine with queer villians but with the variety of ppl on lost we coulda had a variety of LGBTA+ rep!!#if there was one way i could improve lost it'd be more LGBTA+ diversity #q slur //
