Suji and Taeyong release collaborative single “Some″ featuring Sunghee

Fuse member Suji and Knight member Taeyong have collaborated to release a new single. Released today, the two vocalists sing together on “Some”, a smooth pop-R&B track about the feelings of two people in a “some” relationship with each other. Unity’s Sunghee makes a featuring appearance on the song for a rap verse following the same theme. The lyrics of “Some” were written by Taeyong and Sunghee, and Taeyong also helped in part to compose and produce the song. Suji and Taeyong will be promoting the song for a week on music shows.

Our Songs releases finale solo tracks

base TV show Our Songs has released the final tracks composed by the show’s cast for its finale onto streaming sites today! The EP (Our Songs, Part 5: Solos) has been uploaded on streaming sites with the four songs, one solo song created by each of the contestants. At the same time the songs were released on streaming sites, each contestant’s company uploaded a music video for the song. Previously, duets were released from the finale where two pairs of two contestants out of the final four were paired together. Voting has opened up on the show’s website for the public to vote for their favorite solo track. The voting will help to determine the winner of the show alongside audience votes.

Our Songs releases fourth round duo tracks

base TV show Our Songs has released the new tracks written by the show’s cast for its final  round onto all major streaming sites today. The EP (Our Songs, Part 4: Duets) includes two songs created in pairs by the final four contestant contestants. Origin’s Joohwan and Fuse’s Suji are paired up while Unity’s Jaewon and Knight’s Taeyong are paired as the other duo. Voting has opened up on the show’s website for the public to vote for their favorite track. The voting will help to determine the winner of the show’s final round alongside audience votes.

Our Songs releases first round tracks

base TV show Our Songs has released the first tracks composed by the show’s cast onto streaming sites today! The show was announced earlier this month to begin airing this upcoming Friday and fans have been steadily offered a peak into what to expect over the last few weeks with the release of teaser images of the cast and the release of special cover videos by each cast member.

As of now, an EP (Our Songs, Part 1: Identity/Introduction) has been uploaded on streaming sites with the eight songs created by the contestants for the first round of the show. Voting has opened up on the show’s website for the public to vote for their favorite track. This will be the first round of voting to determine the winner of the show’s first round.

The winner of Our Songs is crowned on final episode

Last night, the finale of base TV’s Our Songs aired. The final four contestants, Knight’s Taeyong, Origin’s Joohwan, Fuse’s Suji, and Unity’s Jaewon, gave their final performances and the runner-up and winner of the show were announced.

Fuse’s Suji was announced as the winner of the show, making Unity’s Jaewon the runner-up. The results were based on both live audience votes after watching their performances as well as online votes after the release of their tracks online. Fuse’s Suji had collaborated with Origin’s Joohwan to release “Heart Stop” and her final solo song was “I Go”. Jaewon had collaborated with Knight’s Taeyong to release “City Lights” and his final solo song “Jasmine”.

Taeyong releases fourth solo album “Lovesick″

Knight’s Taeyong has dropped his fourth full-length solo album! Taeyong made his solo debut with the full-length album I’m Young in 2017 and has since released two additional full-length albums, Daydream and Fatalism. Taeyong has released two collaborations and a solo single so far this year in addition to two successful OSTs. His fourth album Lovesick comes after the release of his album pre-release single “Fall” last week.

Lovesick’s twelve song run begins, unexpectedly, with an outro track, “And You? (Outro)” which kicks off the album with a bang before descending into a line of largely R&B and jazz-inspired tracks and ends with the much more subdued “Nostalgia”. “Make Up”, the ninth track on the album, includes the album’s only feature, which is by Alien member San. Taeyong himself entirely wrote, composed, and produced the album.

The album’s single is “Bittersweet”, a smooth R&B track about the bittersweet emotions that come from longing for an ex-lover. Like the rest of the album, “Bittersweet” is written, composed, and produced by Taeyong. The song will be promoted for a week on music shows and b-side track “Bonnie & Clyde” will be performed as an auxiliary stage for the first week of promotions.

Taeyong releases “Fall” ahead of solo album release

Before the release of his fourth full-length solo album Lovesick, Knight’s Taeyong has dropped the album’s pre-release single “Fall”. “Fall” is a pensive R&B-style piano ballad about the changing of the seasons and the end of a relationship being like a lingering fall as one wonders how their ex-lover is without them and misses what they once had together. The music video, shot in Seattle in the United States, highlights Taeyong in the midst of empty indoor and outdoor spaces. Taeyong is credited as the sole lyricist, composer, and producer of the track.

COLLA3ORATE releases “Quit Playing″

base’s COLLA3ORATE project has released their latest special single today. “Quit Playing” follows the already release “Drip” to complete the duo of singles executive produced by Dimensions Entertainment. “Quit Playing” is a smooth R&B track. As promised in the earlier press release, the music video earned a 19+ rating and it has since also been announced that the song’s original choreography has been banned from broadcast. The project group includes Unity’s Soo, Knight’s Taeyong, CHARM’s Hyunsoo, Alien’s San, and Element’s Sun.
