COLLA3ORATE releases “Cabi Song″, sponsored by Caribbean Bay

base’s COLLA3ORATE project has released the second special single for the project’s season 1.5 today. The second project release was executive produced by Gold Star Media, just like the first, and is sponsored by Caribbean Bay. This project single includes WISH’s Iris, Lucid’s Josie, Lipstick’s Ruby, Knight’s Duri, Alien’s San, and former Element member Sun among the performers. “Cabi Song” is a summer dance track. The project group will be holding a special mini-concert later this week on May 22 at Nodeul Island Live House.

COLLA3ORATE releases “Quit Playing″

base’s COLLA3ORATE project has released their latest special single today. “Quit Playing” follows the already release “Drip” to complete the duo of singles executive produced by Dimensions Entertainment. “Quit Playing” is a smooth R&B track. As promised in the earlier press release, the music video earned a 19+ rating and it has since also been announced that the song’s original choreography has been banned from broadcast. The project group includes Unity’s Soo, Knight’s Taeyong, CHARM’s Hyunsoo, Alien’s San, and Element’s Sun.

San releases first solo album “Is This Love?″

Alien’s San has dropped his first full-length solo album! San has previously released two solo digital singles through Dimensions Portal, “Eat” and “Yanghwa BRDG”, but this album marks his spot as the first Alien member to make a solo debut since their debut in 2012.

Is This Love? is a twelve track album. Most of the album takes on an exploration of various R&B styles, from more traditional takes to more modern interpretations of the genre, and makes use of both San’s vocal prowess and his rapping ability. The track list features collaborations with several other idols: CHARM’s Sirius on “Stay Up”, Lipstick’s Sowon on “R.O.D”, and Silhouette’s Youngjoo on “Without You”. San has lyric and production credits on seven of the album’s twelve tracks. Silhouette’s Youngjoo is listed as one of the composers for “Who, You?”, while Knight’s Taeyong has lyrics, music, and production credits on “Betcha” and “Ice Queen”, as well a working with San on the lyrics and production of "UN Village” and “Stay Up”.

The album’s promoted single will be “UN Village”, a slick and sophisticated alt-R&B track. The song will be promoted for two weeks on music shows, and b-side track “Think About You” will be staged solo for the first week of his music show promotions.

San releases Dimensions Portal song “Yanghwa BRDG”

Alien’s lead vocal released his first Portal track, “Eat”, last month and he’s now returned to give fans one last gift before the year comes to a close. San’s newest song is a soulful track by the title of “Yanghwa BRDG”. Lyrically, San reminisces on family dynamics and wishes for the well-being of his loved ones. The music video features the titular Seoul bridge. San and Origin’s Romeo are credit as lyricists and producers on the song.

San releases second solo album “A Song Too Late″

Alien’s San has dropped his second full-length solo album! The lead vocal and rapper made his solo debut exactly a year ago with the release of his first solo album Is This Love?. Since then, the idol has released two Portal singles to round out his total appearances on the project to four and held his first solo concert. Now, San leaves behind the questioning romance of Is This Love? for the more regretful A Song Too Late.

Twelve tracks make up A Song Too Late’s runtime, the same number as San delivered for his first album. This Time, San enters the album on the receiving end of an unrequited love with ‘Excuses” and as the album progresses, emotions of heartbreak, sorrow, anger, and obsession are explored. A number of features appear on the album: Knight’s Duri providing vocals for “Baby Good Night”, Dimensions Entertainment soloist Alex appearing on “Snow, Fuse’s Minjung on “Missing You”, and Silhouette’s Youngjoo on “Why”. All four features appear in the albums credits as well, with Knight’s Duri providing “Coming Home”’s lyrics, Fuse’s Minjung helping to craft “Baby Good Night”, “Missing You”, and “That XX”, Alex contributing to the lyrics and producing the song he appears on, and Silhouette’s Youngjoo also helping to write the lyrics of the song she’s featured on. San himself was involved in the creative credits of the album in the areas of lyrics and production on several of the album’s songs.

"That XX” is a guitar ballad from the perspective of a man heartbroken because the object of his affection remains with a man unworthy of her. “That XX” will be promoted for three weeks on music shows and b-side track “No Shadow” will be performed solo as an auxiliary stage for the first week of promotions.

San releases Dimensions Portal song “No Make Up”

Alien’s San has released a new digital single through Dimensions Entertainment’s wing of the Portal digital music project. "No Make Up” is an R&B-jazz track where San reassures a lover that he finds her beautiful without any make up on. The music video is simple but appropriate, starring San singing with a band backing him up in a warehouse in black and white. San is credited for writing the lyrics for the song, as well as producing it.

[NEWS] Base TV announces Secret Sibling

base has announced the next television show that will be airing during their base TV television block! The company has already announced the idol songwriter competition show Our Songs, which will begin airing on September 4, and a new show called Secret Sibling has now been added to the line-up. The press release states that the purpose of the show is to pair idols up with their own “secret sibling”, who they will get to know over the course of the show by sharing their everyday lives and worries with each other.

The press release also confirmed the cast of the show, featuring several big names: Decipher’s Taejin, Aria’s Jynx, Alien’s San, Knight’s Duri, Woo, Heesung, and Hyuk, Lipstick’s Ruby, Artemisia, and Minnie, Fuse’s Miyeon, Minjung, and Sooah, WISH’s Rina and Sophie, Unity’s Jaeyeol and Ting, and Lucid’s Hyoyeon, Alice, and Wei.

Secret Sibling will air every other Friday at 11PM beginning September 11.

[NEWS] Alien’s San confirmed to hold first solo concert

Dimensions Entertainment has just confirmed that Alien’s San will be holding his first solo concert. In the announcement, the company stated that San will take on the challenge of his first solo concert. It was stated that San is currently working hard to put on stages that both fans and the public will enjoy. This will also mark San as the first member of Alien to hold a solo concert. 

Earlier this year San released his first full length album titled, Is This Love? with the title track “UN Village”, along with recently releasing the portal single “Please Don’t”. The concert titled ROMANCE DAWN will be held on August 15 and 16 at Songang University Mary Hall. Tickets for ROMANCE DAWN will go on sale later this week.
