Fuck it. I wanna write about my Transformers OCs.
Years ago, I began developing a hypothetical Transformers series called Transformers: Machina. There are a few things that set this series apart from other Transformers settings.
First, the Great War in this universe has been going on for multiple generations of Transformers (who live for thousands of years in this continuity as opposed to millions), so neither Optimus nor Megatron are the founders of their factions but only the latest in a long line of past leaders.
Second, this is a version of Cybertron where Primus isn’t just dormant, he’s absent. Long ago, the Decepticons who began the war used Dark Energon to separate Primus’s brain (an artifact called the Psychron) from the planet’s core. They did this because they felt Primus would interfere with their plans of conquest, and they wanted to rule without being beholden to any god. However, the war ended up dragging on for much, much longer than those who began it anticipated, and Cybertron began to decay without Primus’s presence. The detection of the Psychron on Earth is what brings both factions to the planet. However, the Psychron had been split into pieces, each one containing a fragment of Primus’s knowledge that has been lost over the generations (such as how to synthesize Energon, how to create a Spark of Combination, ancient legends that have been lost, etc.)
Third, the main characters would not be the same revolving cast of Autobots we’ve been getting (such as Ratchet, Bumblebee, Optimus) but a new team made entirely of my own OCs.
With that said:
Which one of the main team of Autobots in Transformers: Machina would you like to hear more about?
Red Sky (Most prominent Autobot, ace pilot, severe PTSD)
Apex (Medic, high empathy, has a complex because he can’t transform)
Timber (Wolf alt-mode, linguist, in love with Red Sky)
Renegade (Team leader, the muscle of the group, thick southern accent)
Exhilarate (Scout, experimented on in a lab, youngest member of the group)
Caitlyn and Terry, human companions (She’s autistic; he’s on his last nerve)
