Before I began illustrating these stories, I was writing them. Today I'm stoked to have an essay published on Electric Literature! It's a 9-minute read 😏 and the link is in my bio. My celebrating is a little bittersweet since I'm currently at the Oregon coast with my (still very Mormon) mom and sister and feel like I can't really tell them about it. Sigh.

Hello everyone! You can call me Vheissu and this is My Hut!!! I will write a post later on about my self and my story because now i just want to tell you what goes on inside MyHut. I was born a Mormon and the Mormon church was all i really knew (at least in terms of religions and that esoteric area) until about 5 years ago and since then sooooo much has happened and changed. I found a lot of information about the Mormon church most members don't even dream about, aaand when some of them learn they either pretend they don't for their testimony's sake oooor they change their life's! That's what i want to do but it's not that easy and that's where MyHut comes in!!!!
When you feel like you need to step away from your Ex-Mormon support group because they are being too... Mormon.
