P - What kind of music I like

I listen to everything from musicals to kpop, though I’m partial towards music that’s born out of emotional need to create music (Carrie and Lowell, Vulnicura, Hospice, etc). I also like quiet music I can study to, and lyrics that punch my gut (see: Mitski, Lorde).

 Q - Favourite flower?

Peonies.

 V - Big dreams?

I would really like to establish a niche in my field of study. Like if you searched for my expertise, my name would be the first to show up. A grand dream.

I really want to say that I’m a clean person, but I always come back to my aversion to doing the dishes. I feel like a truly clean person wouldn’t have such a mental block about doing the dishes. Short answer: I’m halfway between.

Simon & Garfunkel will always be classic to me.

hydrangea : what’s your dream job ?

I’d love to be a full time writer (who wouldn’t?), but other than that I really don’t know. This troubles me.

That’s because music and our mood are completely linked, so listening to the right track can make you happy, nostalgic or inspired. how many languages can you speak?

just one! possibly conversational spanish, but i haven’t worked on it in a while.

what matters more: fashion or comfort?

definitely comfort. i’ve never really been much of a fashion person. my $20 jeans from target are perfectly fine for me!

when did you last visit a friend’s house?

oh god it’s been agesss. growing up my house was the one that everyone would come to to hangout. it still sort of is, but my friends and i usually hang out elsewhere.

how did you discover your favourite artist’s work?

i’m going to interpret this as musical artist because i don’t know much about painting/drawing/you know that kind of art. my favorite musical artist, or i guess this is a band, is the maine! (i’m just going to link their spotify here because they’re incredible) i had a friend in fifth grade who’s older sister was super on top of all the news on local bands and i remember her playing their first or second album when i was over at their house. i was obsessed with them then and still am like 6 years later! not much comes out of arizona where i live, but they’re the exception. just a group of super nice guys that make amazing music.
