During the course of her career, Davis appeared in over 100 films and received two Oscars and three Emmy awards. A few of her major motion pictures include, "Dangerous" (1935), "Jezebel" (1938), "The Virgin Queen" (1955), "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" (1962) and "Hush, Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte" (1964). She was the co-founder of the Hollywood Canteen, and was the first female president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In 1962, Davis became the first person to secure 10 Academy Award nominations for acting.
