THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS - Caine Expressions!!
kofi🦷|| Freakshow Caine by @hootbon
Haha i know how to draw Caine and you don't~ hehehe
and Freakshow Caine :3c He canonically isn't very expressive as he is sort of like a broken unhinged jaw that won't return... but I've been wanting to play with squash and stretch with him for quite a while now X3c
C4T-R1N4 is slowly learning how to cat.exe
Some expression tests for C4T-R1N4, Sun Shadow's robotic companion from my Fallout: New Vegas spin-off, THE V-SOLDIER PROJECT.
Since she doesn't speak like most robots, most of her personality comes through her eyes, her little "Mimih" sounds, head tilts, and body language.
She's still a work in progress, but she's getting there.
And yes, she has Siamese cat energy.
WRENCH || SKETCH PAGE 4
This sketch page is a LOT more devoted to figuring out how to draw and communicate Wrench’s emotions and expressions. I do these sheets a lot with characters (mainly my OCs) but I figured a Wrench one may be warranted for this sketch book!!! I know that at this point I’m kinda just posting these to archive them and translate them for myself, but I hope you guys do appreciate them!!!
Expression testing sheet: Wrench
Stretch extreme, neutral, squash extreme
Face is small and feminine, expressions and motions are masculine
The more aggressive he is, the more curved the line of action will be
Most expression is minimal, let larger expressions be very animated
Kitten Logic
Small face, the expression effects more of the face than on something with a larger face
Shoulders and body language tell a lot of story!!!
Wrench Face Model (this header text is not on sheet)
Lots of eyebrow emotion, eyes move very minimally, very expressive mouth!!!
Very little expression and emotion should be shown through face, should be subtle
Component compare!
Joule - Hyper expressive
Volta - Moderately expressive
Killerwatt - Limited expressive
In terms of how expressive the components are, Wrench tanks on the lower end of the spectrum near Killerwatt and Krupp. Most of his emotions are displayed through body language, NOT facial expressions.
In general, Wrench poses should be CLOSED or NEUTRAL
Expression Studies
Oh man, these are starting to show their ages but, a bit ago, I decided to sit down and do some expression tests with a few friends of mine! I also ended up giving myself a lip fetish with that rhino woman, wooo WEE…
expression tests
A few months ago I started to draw an expression sheet for Cree, but I didn’t get any further than this on it because I came to the conclusion that her muzzle was nowhere near as flexible as I was portraying it in these doodles. Also the acid dribbling out of the sides of her mouth looked silly. Probably only the first of the three would actually line up with canon.
Still, might as well have these up somewhere!
