Never finished this, but figured I’d post it anyway

It’s meant to show the different aspects of their relationship with the top being their worst (when they’re enemies) bottom being their most pure (when they’re kids) and the middle being their most gentle and comforting (sometime after Isha’s death and making up)

Ekko is MudWing IceWing hybrid, and Jinx is a RainWing SeaWing hybrid

here's something I've been working on on a whim:

An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works

Basically, it's an AU of the events post-TBC surrounding the lives of six (seven) characters: Shadowsight, Finchlight, Needleclaw, Nightheart, and Turtlecrawl. (And Rootspring, too, but he's only kind of important.)

The gist of it is that every chapter has a theme and I pick maybe two or three POVs and explore that theme within the context of their life; the fic gets its name from the fact that how each character handles that will be fundamentally different.

There is eventual romance involved, consisting of a pair I really like (Sunbeam x Shadowsight (where are my SunShadow fans at)) and two others I thought might be interesting (Finchlight x Turtlecrawl, Nightheart x Needleclaw) given their backgrounds.

Some characters are recharacterised or renamed, and some plot points might have changed. Some examples:

I really want to lean into the idea that Finchlight thinks that ThunderClan is the best Clan, and that she's obssessed with the idea that her bloodline is the best one. She eventually realises how she wasn't all that right. On that note, Brambleclaw stepped down from his leadership way before this story starts, meaning that Squirrelflight becomes leader instead. Rather than Ivypool, though, Sparkpelt is made deputy, for reasons involving resentment from the rest of the Clan. And finally, only Firestar's descendants through Squirrelstar are considered legitimate, because otherwise, this would fall apart

For Turtlecrawl (renamed Turtlestep), I had to come up with something new because she's a background character (lol). Read it and find out what it is

Nightheart is renamed to Nightsong because 1) the whole Firestar angst thing isn't relevant, and 2) it's a pretty name. He still runs away from ThunderClan, but he goes to SkyClan this time. It's important to note that the conversation about the conditions in which one cat can leave their Clan for another in the name of romance doesn't happen, since Rootspring doesn't propose it in this AU

I don't know a whole lot about Needleclaw, but I made her personality the more serious type. I think it fits her

Stranger week day 4: Romance + The Real World

After having lived as a hikikomori for the past seven years, Sunny's life comes to a grinding halt when he gains custody over Omori, his three-month-old infant brother. Forced to go outside and form a healthy environment for Omori to grow up in, he struggles to adapt to a life he left behind so many years ago and yearns to return to the fantasy world he spends most of his waking and dreaming hours in.

A devastating loss causes Stranger to pull away from society and move to a small town for a while, far away from society. As much as he wants to take some time for himself and let the world around him vanish, his new neighbour seems to be struggling a lot with basic living, let alone raising his baby—and it is simply in Stranger's nature to help those in need.

In other words, the midnight sun single dad Sunny x eligible bachelor Stranger fic I specifically asked for!
