When taking into account the full picture I don't think any one pronoun SHOULD be used as our default gender neutral... But out of all the options before "they" became commonplace, like generic he, generic she, alternating, stupid s/he stuff... It brings me so much joy to be reading a text and suddenly read "hir"

Like purely in my own personal corner I would love to just say "if someone was [X] hir experience would be..." just to use these wonderful uncommon pronouns on my hypothetical scenario fill in person. Heck Im not even called "he" often enough, never mind any cooler pronouns like ze or ey.

Past writers who made an attempt at a gender neutral pronoun, whether for legal documents or in a sci fi novel, I love y'all <3

would it be possible to get pronoun validation from ap/ollo just/ice from a/ce at/torney for ey/em and xi/xir pronouns? tysm and i hope all the mods r doing well!!!

apollo enjoys it when he gets to spend the morning with his s/o! he likes to make eir favorite breakfast. sometimes eir still sleepy, but he thinks it’s cute when ey wakes up with bed head and doesn’t brush it. it’s really special to him when eir awake early enough to start the day with him, and he likes being able to make it as special for em as possible.

he also loves to listen to xir talk about xir interests. of course, they’re not interested in all of the exact same stuff, so it’s amazing to him when xe can go on and on about the things xe likes, even if he doesn’t always get it! he’s in awe that xe can remember so much about xir interests.

don’t tell em, but he told me he’s thinking about having xir ride along with him next time he goes out... he wants to surprise em with eir favorite dinner! he got reservations at xir favorite place and everything!
