The spectrum of Disability that effects the eyes is vast.

So I've made an eye reference sheet to show fellow artists small dip of the spectrum for when you want to create more diverse disabled characters!

page 573 - the idea was simple. Measure a mountain and thereby determine its worth.

Dynamite the whole thing for aggregate = value

Dynamite the whole thing to get the 50% by volume that is coal = different value

Dynamite the whole thing just because you have that much dynamite, but then just leave the smouldering pile untouched, not because you couldn't sell some of it as aggregate or maybe coal, but because in the explosion you had hoped to find = personal value

In the eyes of others does your brand now hold sway or are you just the guy that was able to amass a large amount of dynamite that one time for an enormously wasteful display?

Also in the eyes of others: slivers of rock because that was a lot of dynamite, everyone was far too close, and no one wore goggles.

you ever have a horror concept that disgusts you so fucking bad and you absolutely hate it, but intrusive thoughts make it so you have to think about it?

one of the ways leon can die in re4r, being eye gouging... read a comment about how he could've survived. and yes, that's true. provided the bone wasn't broken (it's extremely weak) and it wasn't deep enough to hit any major arteries. he very well could've, but without medical attention right away.... maybe not likely given everything else goes ""right"".

imagine leon surviving that. getting out of the ganado's grasp before his skull is cracked open like a pinata. he's too late to get away unscathed though.

he spends his last moments blinded, scrambling for anything to defend himself with. to think about how miserable and how terrifying that would be. y u c k.

maybe, just maybe one eye survives. maybe it's popped out of his skull. (saw something where someone was doing makeup in a vehicle and they were lucky that their mascara tube went to the side of their eye and avoided damage.) and through blurred vision, he's made to witness his own death from a really disorienting angle.

maybe, a more hopeful concept. the plaga, while still fuckin around and getting comfy in his body, provides him with new eyes. and to get more depressing, leon avoids mirrors because his new peepers are creepy.

I really wanted to draw this headconon, I find the beasts eyes fascinating and I like the idea that they’re made of glass (like the lantern) and the idea of them shattering or cracking and then this fire is visible, the same thing that it’s in the lantern. After all the eyes are the window to the soul, right? Also here’s the close up on his eye without the fire
