Confession: When Your Personal Experiences are Taboo...
Mod Silhouette: Sometimes, I look in envy at other- and ficto-experiences.
It sounds nice to have a personal blog and talk about how your other-type or ficto-type affects your life; how you think your alterhumanity works, how your system "invited" ya, and tips on how to cope with the things we might face... talking about current sensations, and about past lives, with anonymized but identifiable details.
Meanwhile, I can't do that.
Yeah, I'm alterhuman - multiple members of my subsystem are nonhuman and I& as a subsystem don't identify as human at all. Which is why I use the fact-alterhuman label instead of factive - people often assume that all fact-experiences are human. Which ain't right for me&.
But my nonhuman experiences are also related to my fact-identity. And yet I can't publicize that! I'm a walk-in, and median not in a "facets of myself/dissociative" way, but in a "multiverse gathering" way. That's already paintin' a huge target on my back. Telling the internet that I'm [censored] from another universe would make it worse.
If I do publish my thoughts, my differences, my feelings about my counterpart (this world's version of [censored]), my experiences... I'd have to censor my own goddamn name and any other information that other people might guess it from.
But if I'm being vague like that, what personal thing could I share? What'd make it more than this blog (which is literally called "Fact-Anonymous", no less!), or more than an advice blog?
Even speakin' in this manner, talkin' like myself this way, feels like skirting the edge of a radioactive waste dump.
It's like if (for example) a wolf therian is writing a therian blog about their experiences... but without mentioning or implying they're a wolf whatsoever. They don't tell their diets or their bone structure or what gives them euphoria (gears, activities, etc.) - anything that can give the audience hints.
I wish I got any idea what to do.
(TW: abuse, radfem rhetoric) Hi, could I ask for some positivity? I'm a fact-alterhuman who's been constantly misgendered because my counterpart is a cis-straight man (presumably) (and I'm genderqueer), and if I ain't misgendered, I get called "dangerous", "scary", and "unsafe" because I'm "too masculine", and someone who abused me told me I should be "more feminine" so they don't do it to me. Thank you& all. Please take your time and take care.
Ayo,
That's really fucked of them to treat you like that. You are a whole-ass person with your own thoughts, feelings and concept of identity. They have no right to tell you how to identify, or what your identity is, ya feel? Its fucked up. Period.
Also fuck that person who victim blamed you. It doesn't matter if you're less or more feminine-- your abusers are going to be abusers. That's because something is wrong with them-- not you.
Do your best to pay no mind to the ignorance and hatred of others. There will always be stupid people out there. Don't compromise your sense of identity over what they think. You deserve better than that.
And if it somehow isn't clear by now; you're allowed to deviate from your source. In fact, that's normal. You can be whatever version of yourself that you were meant to be. And if that version of you is genderqueer while your canon counterpart is a cis man? Thats completely okay.
Hang in there. There are people around you who care about you.
