This is more than fashion.
We believe WHAT we wear is supposed to set us up for a way of life, not a location. As followers of Jesus, the only way we can live this life is to actually wear Jesus as mentioned in Romans 13:11-14. So when we say “What We Wear 2 Church” we’re not talking about clothing but about Jesus, and we’re not talking about the church building but “WE” the people of the church.
What We WEAR 2 Church started out as a blog in August 2011 with the intent of shattering the stereotypes set on Christian by showing actual Christians that may never be portrayed in the media today. This meant sharing different faces, different styles and even different means of worship. The mission has grown from displaying 2 now empowering. Our mission now is to not only show the world who we are but also to empower you in this way of life.
This is so much more than fashion this is us. This how we dress, how we sing, how we dance, how we speak, how we look, how to share, how we love, this is What We Wear 2 CHURCH.

How to end a toxic friendship
One of the most physically and spiritually draining things in your Christian life is an unhealthy friendship. Friendships are tricky; if we aren't careful we let them continue without realizing how they are negatively affecting us. Would you continue dating someone who you constantly argued with, or who caused you unnecessary stress? Most likely not. So why do we continue in friendships that drain the life out of us? You may be thinking "It's not that big of a deal" or maybe you feel stuck because they are so deeply connected to you. I recently struggled with ending an unhealthy friendship because of how involved this person was in my life. She went to my church and life group, knew my family, and hung out with my friends. I knew the friendship was bad and we needed to take a step back, but I was afraid of how that would affect other aspects of my life. I had become so desperate I was actually considering moving. I decided to talk with my life group leader about what I should do and she suggested the three of us sit down and talk. The results were not perfect, my friend was upset and did not want to acknowledge the problem or try to find a solution. However, our talk did not end in yelling or arguing. Things were handled decently and in order and I am finally free from a friendship that was stunting me spiritually. The Bible says that when we have a problem with someone we should address the person directly. If that doesn't work we are to go to a spiritual leader and ask for their help. Having a trusted leader there for a hard conversation will keep tempers in check and deflect rumors from spreading afterwards. The most important thing to remember is that while you MUST escape a toxic environment, your intention should never be to hurt the other person or cause unnecessary drama. The situation should remain between you and the person involved, and the goal should be in the best interest of everyone involved.
Jesus promises❤️
You split the sea so I could walk right through it, my fears are drowned in perfect love. ❤️
Out of all of creation, -the mountains, the oceans, the stars in the sky- God decided we were the most precious thing He made. The entire universe exists to declare God's glory, every creature is a testament of His power. If even the wind is dedicated to worshipping it's creator, why do we feel that we are too good? Are we more beautiful than the sunset? More powerful than the oceans? If the oceans roar his greatness so will I. 🌸🦋🌎
