✨ Bible Verse of the Day ✨
💜 David knew His God was a covenant-keeping God and that the never-failing loving-kindness of the Lord was more to be desired than life itself, for in Him is abundant life and through Him we discover a joy that never ends, and a peace that floods our soul.
The truth that flows from this joyful psalm of David should be the experience and pronouncement of every regenerate soul, for without His life there is nothing other than death; without His loving-kindness there is only sadness and misery and without His refreshment there is a dark dryness of the soul.
Let us earnestly seek the Lord in the dryness of our own lives, knowing He is the source of living water and the sanctuary for the weary soul. Let us like David fill our hearts with the joy of the Lord and sing spiritual songs with our lips and in our lives, to the praise of His wonderful name. ✝️

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.- 2 Timothy 1:7 #fear Fear will keep us in the same place and we don't find ourselves experiencing anything new in life. Fear will cause you to accept being comfortable where you are, instead of b eing excited about where you are going. It will tell you that you can't do great things, so you have to settle for what you have. #spiritoffear Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.- Psalm 23:4 #fearnoevil I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.- Psalm 34:4 #fearnot When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.- Psalm 56:3 #fearnothing 🔥Subscribe to my YouTube channel and podcast,👉🏾"Uplift Past Crossroads"👈🏾🔥 Befriend me on Facebook/LinkedIn = Sean Christopher Jenkins 🔥Follow👉🏾@troubledontlast 👈🏾IG/Twitter/Snap for more🔥 Turn on Post Notification - Like - Comment - Share - Save ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ . . And, what they meant for evil, our God will turn it around for your good! In a world full of so many phonies, it's difficult to know who is for you and who is against you. So many will smile in your face, but stab you in your back! This may bother you (we are human and no one likes to be mistreated), but it doesn't have to distract you! There's this thing called, Blessed Assurance, and you must know that you know God's Got You and man may plot against you, but man can't stop God's plans for you! So, if you've collected your share of knives along life's journey, keep your head up and just use the very knife meant to harm you to cut the ties and keep it moving! There's no need to keep the toxic people like that in your life. No need to harm them and stab them back...You don't have to stoop to their level, let God fight your battles and elevate you in the presence of your enemies. "But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good..." “Don't talk fear. Talk faith.”
“All the people gathered here will know that the Lord doesn’t need swords or spears to save people. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will help us defeat all of you.” 1 Samuel 17:47 (ERV)
“When David faced Goliath, he didn't talk about how dangerous Goliath was- he talked about how great God is. Don't talk fear. Talk Faith.” ―Unknown.
I love the story of David. A humble shepherd, overlooked by his family but chosen and anointed by God and becomes a king. Now if that isn't an illustration of how you never know what unexpectedly amazing things God can do in your life, what is? David went out to fight Goliath with no armor or sword; just a stick, a slingshot and five stones in his shepherd’s bag. Goliath had armor, a sword, spear, and javelin - and he was huge. But David had something better: faith. “The Lord will let me defeat you,” David said to Goliath. (1 Sam 17:46 ERV) It only took one stone to bring Goliath down. Friend, when you have God on your side, there's no giant big enough to defeat you. Giant of unemployment; giant of bad doctor's report; giant of broken relationship; giant of depression. Any giant! With God's help, you will bring them all down. And you won't need weapons other than faith. And maybe one stone and a slingshot.
