Everyone in the family will love these quick and easy Cheesy Fajita Skillet Tacos for dinner. Seasoned ground beef, sauted onions and peppers, and melted cheddar cheese make a filling for soft flour tortillas that is both tasty and cheesy. Add sour cream, salsa, and fresh cilantro on top to make it taste even better!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 packet fajita seasoning mix. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 8 small flour tortillas. 1/4 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup salsa. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish.
Instructions: In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Add sliced onion and bell peppers to the skillet and cook until they start to soften, about 5 minutes. Stir in the fajita seasoning mix and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave according to package instructions. Place a spoonful of the beef and vegetable mixture onto each tortilla. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture on each tortilla. Top with a dollop of sour cream and a drizzle of salsa. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
