Ghor Language (Star Wars: Andor) Ghor is a language with its “own rules and sounds and grammar and pronunciations”, and every single word spoken in Ghor by every background character has a meaning. One article even says ‘unlike Huttese’ Ghor ‘is one of the most fleshed-out constructed languages in all of Star Wars.’ This is significant, because Huttese, before Mando’a, was one of the front-runners for Star Wars fake languages.
My understanding of a quote by one of the main creators of the language is that the Ghor they built contains somewhere near 2000 words. However, much of this is not accessible to fans. Serafinawriter is working on separating and working out every single Ghor audio clip from Andor in order to figure out the language and turning it into something “functional and practical” that can be learned. Analysis/update. Resources r/Ghor Subreddit AurekFonts is back at it again: latest work on deciphering the alphabet. (<- I'm not sure which writing system this is supposed to be, since Ghor apparently has two.) Rudimentary translator All of this would be much easier if those who created Ghor would share all of their work.
Ghor is a fairly recent addition to the land of fictional languages you can learn, as the season of the show it appeared in only aired April 2025.

I need to practice writing in the language I made up so comment down below a simple question like ‘hey how are you’ and I will respond in the fake language. And I’m not gonna tell you what I said. So you’ll have to figure that out by looking at other responses I give. And yes, you can put ‘say “good” and I will in language.
found out drawing creatures from marinia from the perspective of an animal enthusiast is very fun actually!
'sprrat' is a translation to animal/creature
'-en' is from the root word 'enen' which translates to fly/flying
'sprraten' is basically 'bird' or 'animal that can fly' if you want to be literal!
Enka is a future character for my comic!
You will never guess what he is really into lmao
Why are there so many conlang songs that are AI generated? Either the words are generated, the background(s), the voices singing, or even a mix or all the above option included.
Can anyone do me a quick favor and help me find more conlang songs? It is hard to feel like an eldritch entity when you can't even listen to a good conlang song. Yes, weird to listen to conlang music to feel like an eldritch entity, but I love it. Also I love learning languages and conlangs are so fun because the sounds are so fun to try to replicate.
Let me feel like a fey or monstrous creature speaking their language to humans unable to understand/speak it.
It is fun. You should try it. Good way to get the pronunciation right too.
Me need more conlang songs please. Conlangers can you please help me find more songs? Thank yous!!
Cybertronian Language Ref Project
So, I was absolutely ASTOUNDED to discover there isn't, as far as I could find, any dedicated directory of a List Of Words for the Cybertronian languages, though there is some documentation on the written languages themselves.
Inspired by those, I started creating a document to keep track of Cybertronic languages used in the fanfictions I write, because I have an obsession for fantasy language in a story actually being written out.
Would anyone be interested in sharing this resource? I don't have terribly many words installed yet, and I mostly focus on the common tongue since that's what comes up most often in my stories so far, but I plan to flesh out all of them with time.
Imagine some of the fun miscommunications between Decepticons and Autobots who are mingling, when they have the same spoken word but they mean vastly different things >:DDD
Bird-Bat Language [Part 1]
A majority of the language is whistles, as those can carry great distances, but other noises are also used, helped along by things such as comms.
HC that there’s no exact word for gay/straight/lesbian/etc. in Cherankan so liberties have to be taken
