TransFakeOSDD means transitioning to faking OSDD
If you make shitty "satire" about ~the system fakers~ shut the fuck up about the harm "fakers" do forever actually, because you are contributing to it too! Labeling it as satire doesn't make it less harmful to mock traits related to systems (especially since pretty much none of the traits you use in your satire are something exclusive to fakers), spread misinformation, and turn the existences of systems into a fucking joke.
Because even if it's supposed to be satire, and supposed to be about "the fake ones", it still contributes to people treating systems like jokes. It contributes to people believing all of us are fake, or even that the disorders themselves aren't real. It contributes to misinformation on what is or isn't a sign of faking, and misinformation on how you can tell someone is faking. It contributes to misinformation on what a system can look or act like. It actively harms all of us, not just "the fakers".
TW: rant, OSDD/DID fakers
Ok so I really don’t like ranting like this but people who fake alters just bring so much hurt to me. I don’t think any of these people realize how genuinely scary and hard having alters is. I live in constant fear that one of us will front and do something bad, or someone will front at a really important and inappropriate time and get us in huge trouble. It’s not fun and it’s something I will never be able to get rid of. I feel like I’m not in control of my body (because half the time I’m not) and that’s not a fun thing. It’s terrifying. It’s inconvenient, and it’s in no way painless or fun. Not to mention how awful it is when too many people are active at night and you’re left crying with no sleep because you can’t shut it out. I’ve learnt to accept it because I cant get rid of it, but it is in no way something I wish to have. I can forgive those who have gotten confused and faked it in the past IF they own up to it, but people who continue to do this make me sick.
TL;DR: OSDD isn’t fun, it’s scary, stop faking it
~mod spider
y’know processing and dealing with the stuff i’ve been dealing with lately has really made me think like
@ those people out there who fake having systems: literally????? why????? this is horrible. not being able to stop yourself from doing things or losing time is horrible. having to share your body with other people isn’t..........fun????? why would you want to have this??????? why would anybody??????? i just???? stop???? bc this is awful.
Fakeclaimers always say "you know you can just roleplay right?" About systems, especially systems with introjects
And like
Yeah we do know roleplay exists
There's plenty of systems in roleplay communities actually
Believe it or not, roleplaying does not make someone's disorder or symptoms disappear
And I've genuinely never met a system that didn't know what roleplay is at all... or one who thought roleplay was bad.... like we know lol. We know we can roleplay. But unfortunately our hobbies can't make our symptoms go away, that's not how it works.
