There's something about white people claiming to be woke yet proceed to try and speak on the behalf of black people
You don't get to forgive x person for saying the n word when it wasn't even intended towards you in the first place
having micro bangs and messy eyeliner doesn't negate the fact that u pursued and chose to date a boy that says slurs girl
part of choosing your battles is realizing that its near impossible to have a productive conversation with the willfully ignorant
can all you losers stop acting morally superior about this whole Anora intimacy coordinator thing lmao
mikey madison said she felt perfectly comfortable and you fake woke losers are still trying to push her as a helpless victim of her weirdo director! genuinely very ODD behavior…
from my experience of dating many of them;
isn't funny how so many supposed "woke" and "feminist" cis-men and even male-coded people are still intimidated by cis-women and female coded people who are up-front, outgoing, talkative and strong-willed?
I mean it's all good for assigned females to be strong as long a they are not behaving like assigned male counterparts and especially towards the "woke ones" they are dating, right? 🙄
Hot take: people waiting for celebrities to "speak out" about things like racism are just fans wanting to be reassured that they can keep supporting their fave. No sane, well-informed person with their own moral compass would await confirmation that racism is bad from celebrity #397.
Extra-hot take: if you expect these people to use their platform to educate, why? Why do you think they know better than people who dedicate their lives to these causes and can do a better job of imparting meaningful information? Go look to your community leaders and your teachers for information, maybe?
Super spicy take: if you think these celebs are actually able to influence people to evaluate their biases and moral code and perception of issues, then ask yourself why you would want a person largely isolated from major social and economic issues to even have that kind of influence.
I'm tired of people being selective about messy ships, especially when it's a black character (possibly main) and a non-black main character. Suddenly, the morality, ethics, and/or "just be friends" police come out.
But, I've seen ships consist of a good person/serial *1ller, good person/problematic bully, good person/former g*ap1st, good person/demon from hell. AND NO ONE BATS AN EYELASH.
But the messed-up ship you like? Nope!
Suddenly, your ship triggered the time they were bumped into by accident on a busy street. 🙄
And don't get me started on the Everything-Causes-Owies-and/or-I'm-Different-Different gang. iykyk.
No one calls then out, but the moment you do the hypocrisy and weaponized trauma becomes unreal. If you hate the ship, then leave the tag alone. You can't have your messy ship(s) and eat it, too.
