Finally listening to the Skyrim soundtrack.

My first impression: Unlike Fallout, which is much more percussion and the heavier, harder brass (trumpet, trombone, tuba), Skyrim is much more strings, softer woodwinds (clarinet and flute, oboe) and the richer brass, such as French Horn and euphonium. Not to mention it’s got the vocal part Fallout music lacks. Both are very fitting for their respective worlds.

Because I like giving props where they’re due: Lorne Balfe killed it with the score for Mission: Impossible - Fallout. Great takes on classic themes, homages to past scores, everything you want. Even better, the movie almost took a step back at times to allow the music to kick ass, and it totally did.

was thinking about how great the soundtrack was for fallout especially the ghoul's leitmotif so looked it up and ofc it's ramin djawadi!!

One would think that this song was made exclusively for this game but no it’s an actual song made by Sheldon Allman for his tounge in cheek album Folk songs for the 21st century that dealt similar themes all Fallout deals with.
