I will always love tumblr because you can watch absolute peak in the form of Hindi cinema on the ever ongoing war between India and Pakistan (or well. terror. not Pakistan, but the terrorists within it) and the Indian secret service and the sacrifices they have to make- a story about India being bloody and vengeful in the face of active terrorism, where India fights back and it hits HARD. Where history is shown fully and brazenly, from the real gang wars to the multitude of injustices people like pathans and baloches have had to face- to show that crime and terror affects everyone- it isn't a matter of religion or even country (see: "The biggest enemy of Indians is Indians themselves... Pakistan comes a close second" -Ajit Doval) and that India does not have to be a sitting duck of a nation incapable of fighting back against corruption- from within and from outside. And then you go on tumblr.

A podcast I was listening to today brought up the topic of Sherlock Holmes TV show adaptations... and do y'all remember that time where the Sherlock fandom got really annoyed at the show Elementary for just... existing? And specifically having a (Chinese) woman playing Watson, because it was 'homophobic'? And tried to get the show cancelled over it?
