I think we should discuss more the possibility that Ace helped Ted set up the Fan Fans website

Hear me out: an episode where someone is making a web series of the Fan Fans stories and come to Horseshoe Bay to film it, visiting loads of haunted locations. The crew are stuck following them around so they don't get themselves killed while filming in such dangerous places. Featuring:

Nancy and George thinking that the guy playing Nick is very attractive and staring at him a lot

A lot of Nancy’s best deductions are attributed to George, leaving Nancy more than a little jealous and Nick and Ace having to keep their girlfriends from commenting on it

Newly dating Nancy and Ace have to watch all the Nancy and Ace scenes and keep remarking that they weren't that oblivious but the others agree that they very much were.

Nancy Drew - series timeline

While the shows on its mid-season break, I’m going to be low-key obsessing.

This is one of those shows that can move the plot along without big, hurried and unnecessary time jumps and while there have been a few, they make sense in the context of the show and don’t push the story to far ahead. 

In the mid-season final Bess said something that got me thinking and the Drew Crew have only been friends for a little over 100 days - even though the series is on it’s 3rd season we’ve only gone from the end of August to the first couple of weeks of December 

Season 1 

Ep1 - Series beings the night Tiffany Hudson dies - Aug 29/19

Ep4 - Introduction of Laura Tandy 

She’s holding a newspaper with that says Sept 22/19 and I think this date is a mistake from the prop department (my guess is this episode should be Sept 4ish)

Ep - Newspaper says September 5 2019

Ep7 - They contacted Lucy during a Seance in this episode and the date it happened is revealed in a later episode - this is why I think Ep4 date is wrong

Ep9 - Carson was arrested in this episode (Sept 12 by my guess) 

Ep10 - these newspapers have the dates Sept 14 & 16 and are on the table with a lawyer trying to get Nany to cooperate - they also say there’s been a 2 week jump

The episode ends with Ace’s front page say Oct 3/19

Ep15 - they call to the Agleaca on Harbor Day - which I think is Oct 14

And then Season 1 ends on Oct 17 

Season 2

Ep1 - Picks right up where season 1 left off - Oct 17/19

Ep5 - the day they defeat the  Agleaca is Oct 21/19

Ep6 - opens with another 2 week time jump, which brings us to around Nov 5ish

Ep13 - Newspaper at Gil’s has date of Nov 15/19

Ep14 - Nancy’s fake birthday Nov 19/19

Ep18 - Season 2 ends With Temperance’s return to Horseshoe Bay - which is Nov 27/19

Season 3

Ep1 - Begins 1 week after the end of last season, which takes us to Dec 3ish

Ep3 - Detective con was on Dec 6 - timestamped of CCTV footage 

Ep5 - Nancy trying to keep Richard in custody - Dec 8/19

Ep8 - Is Dec 11, when Ace and Ryan get locked in historical society on same day Bess sets her trap

My best guess is they’ve now been friends for about 106 days - they’ve been co-workers since July 4 but the crew wasn’t formed until almost September 

Anyways, I’m loving it and will be over here just geeking out, posting random stuff to get through the hiatus
