Hey everyone!!

I started redrawing one of my characters in a new style, and this is the updated version 👀✨

Both images are the same character — the second one is the redraw I did in Ibis Paint because I wasn’t fully happy with the original.

He’ll be in the final version of the animation I’m working on, so I really want honest feedback.

I’ll also be releasing a small colored snippet of the animation soon. It’s still a work in progress, so some things might change later, but this is the direction I’m taking it right now.

Inspiration:

I’ve been really inspired by Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel by Vivienne Medrano.

I love the chaotic hell-based worldbuilding and character energy, so I wanted to experiment with my own take on something in that realm.

It’s not meant to copy — just inspiration mixed with my own style. That’s kind of how art works, right? You learn from what you love and build your own thing from it.

Anyway. That’s the update.

I’ve been working on some new perfumes scents~

This time inspired by the show Our Flag Means Death! I have Gentleman’s Blend - a citrus tea and floral aroma inspired by Stede Bonnet. And then there’s the Kraken - a smoky, rum and ocean-esque aroma inspired by the scourge of the high seas, Blackbeard himself! Both perfumes contain notes of orange and they’re excellent on their own, or as a pair! These have been a huge success at conventions so now I’m going to add them to my shop! I’ll be adding them as a preorder item for the time being as I have been sold out every event I’ve gone to and I handmake all of the perfumes myself, so preorder is the easiest way to ensure quality on my end 😁

(Psst also, should I start making tiktoks that are like perfume commercial parodies but for my perfumes? That could be fun)

A couple of fan ocs I made several years ago and have bought back last year. They are Colress’s non-canonical younger siblings who are also twins. I’ve posted Ray previously in the style of my mainline original comic series, however I adjusted my style for this to feel more Pokémonlike, but still reflecting my style, like an art crossbreed, if that makes sense? Ray and Ami are standing in the lowest floor of the Aether Foundation in Alola as that is one of the locations they are in. 😊
