“Zweihänder.” She states simply, and with a cocky grin. “And properly to, don’t just swing it around like any other sword.”
Ich so: Hey sehen wir uns nächste Woche?
Freundin von mir: Nee sry, bin beim Bundespräsidenten eingeladen
My Lord, I know you don't care that much about the finer things in life (unlike that vulgarian Lucius Malfoy) but what kind of things do you like to indulge in when it's time to treat yourself? Murder as a form of self-care doesn't count.
Au contraire. In many cases, I do have a taste for finer things - but in a very different way than say, the overindulgent Lucius. It is true, my preferences in food has been called "utilitarian" or "lower class," my furnishings are sparse, and I do not waste galleons on useless trinkets and the latest fashions.
Still, my library - my greatest treasure - is curated with great care, with a fair share of leather bindings, gold embossing, first editions, and rare texts. I have books in over twenty languages on all forms of dark art imaginable, as well as basic magic texts, other schools of magic such as herbology and charms, astrology charts, and magical theory and critique. The fiction section is no less curated, containing contemporary and classic literature and poetic works from both magical and muggle worlds.
Truly, there is nothing finer than a good text, a glass of wine (or a mug of tea) and a leather armchair by the fire.
But performing the cruciatus curse may very well come in second.
