Pride Month 2023!

June is about to peace out ik, but rather take the chance to post it before it does :'^)

It might not be like last year's (nor will it come with some bg at least for now, sorry fellas ;-; ) but at least I made an effort to include as much as I could (Reader was the tough of the bunch color wise one since y'know, my pal buddy's universal as heck)

Peter PencilPine: this is my latest Original Fan Character I’ve just made the final quarter of this decade’s end: Peter PencilPine, an inspired cross parody of Fancy Pants Man and the Archie-Sonic comic character: Spike the Porcupine, and his high top hairstyle was inspired by Fancy Pants Man’s hairstyle, Crash Bandicoot’s hairstyle, and Manic the Green hedgehog’s hairstyle from the 3rd Sonic Cartoon series: Sonic Underground. I tried out the digital HB pencil on PencilPine’s gray toned fur just make him an anthropomorphic drawing like Fancy Pants the anthropomorphic stick figure from the animated sketch world created by Brad Borne, so I gave the Pencil sketched Porcupine his own Ticonderoga HB pencil inspired by the Don Bluth’s how to animate book cover of Mrs. Brisby using a Ticonderoga HB pencil instead having Mr. PencilPine use the regular yellow-orange pencil FPM uses in later Fancy Pants games. I had so much coloring his gray fur with digital pencil shades and coloring his pants, shoes, and giant pencil in digital color with the Dream Brush. Oh and I forgot to mention that I took inspiration from Rayman’s shoe design from Rayman 3 to give Mr. PencilPine his own Pencil color schemed shoes. FPAVBA post regarding the Ink Man's past woo It's pretty self-explanatory tbh Still, love the little line patterns between both sides (+ the ink dynamism on DPM's lower self) Though the lower text could've use more work, gee :')

**Initially made this as a thing for university (had nothing to do with drawing class tho) but didn't go through with the starter goal The effort wasn't in vain though, I still like the result shown here

The penguin a wrestler fan? Yeah, that’s my headcanon (he may also be into bullfighting too…except it’s the type where the bull is the one that gets its way through in the rodeo, hehehe-)

And yeah, the mouse is referencing current events at the cinema and the copyright offices as well; who knew mice PJs were just as fancy

Also, guess you might’ve noticed what was the thing that took me more time to detail out…

The pencil is as deadly as it is crafty. Being able to dispatch foes with a few quick jabs, swipes and charged up swings as well as acting as a mini propeller to reach those high spaces.
