Just thinking of ways to help us grow and cultivate hope. Feel free to add your own pointers! Let go of limiting beliefs: it doesn’t happen over night though. It can take months of practice until it becomes a habit. Self compassion for yourself. Be kind to yourself if you stumble and trip. EVERYone has failures. Fear of shame: don’t make having self esteem the goal. Make it something that grows as you grow. I remember when I was on various sports team in middle school and giving it all during tryouts but then being paralyzed by fear when playing during games. The fear of shame of letting my team down would stop me from playing. Know you’re worthy. There are so many things that make us feel small and remind us that we aren’t worthy. But a Seek the unknown. Don’t hide behind the shield of ignorance. Generations of ignorance has brought us here. Be fearful but also be hopeful that what you learn will help you make this world better. I am enough. I don’t need something to BE enough. I am enough. Be aware of the needs of others. Stepping outside the needs of yourself will help you develop compassion and kindness. I don’t think I was necessarily born with more empathy (maybe a little bit lol) but I’ve been keenly tuning into the world outside of me. My superpower is empathy and compassion. What’s yours?
